The Felsenkeller is a great hide-away for families spending some time in the Black Forrest. It is a historic gastro-pub with 15 rooms next door. We have always enjoyed the organic food served here. A meal within the historic in is a real treat! For kids, there is the local pool 100 down the road!

Spent two nights in early July - family of five. Two rooms across the hall from one another. Christina the owner was so very helpful and accommodating. She let us store our rental bikes in their cellar overnight. She was always available for questions and advice. The hotel is located on a residential street about a quarter mile from the... More

I had been in Staufen before and was going to stay there again with several family members, but had a hard time booking rooms as I had left it rather late.
