A fantastic find. Stayed in Room 5 from 8th to 12th May. Attending a wedding at Richmond. Lovely and comfortable four poster bed. Large very clean room with an en suite bathroom. Hot shower every morning. Breakfast was beautifully cooked every day. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Had good local knowledge so we could plan days out. A... More

Cannot comment on the hotel but it looks nice from the outside. The pub restaurant however looks new and a pleasant place for a beer whether inside or out. Plenty of outside seating. Samuel Smith beers are good and well kept. The problem however is the poorly trained staff. We visited on a quiet Friday afternoon only about 6 tables... More

We stayed for one night as went to see our town play at Twickenham. The hotel is in a great location and our room was comfortable and clean. Tea/coffee making facilities, bath and power shower. No TV. We ate at the hotel and the food was delicious as was the range of Ales on offer. Lovely bar area. All around... More

Checked in 12.00ish Sat. and paid for the night - room not ready till 2.30...fine. Came back 7.30 to collect the key and be shown the room and had to wait 30 minutes before someone came to see us! 1 poor girl on her own serving the bar, checking in guests - and she was the chef! Went up to... More

We had an absolutely terrible meal here and were invited back to dine again. The second time around the ingredients were very high quality. I understand we were late for the Sunday Roast and it was all a bit dry. I would say if you want the best of sunday roast then go early. I seems like the proprietors are... More

A very average hotel but a low price compared to the rest of hotels in a Richmond . Close to the Thames and about 15 minutes walk from Richmond. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The big down side was that bedrooms don't have TV's which is a first for me.

I stayed as part of a group of 3 for 5 and a bit months between Nov-Apr. In that time I have overseen a change in management and a complete refurb of the hotel. So I am pleased to announce as I leave, that hotel/pub/restaurant couldn't be in better shape! Since the refurbishment I'd say things have come on leaps... More

Me and my partner spent a long weekend here recently, using Richmond as a base to explore London and felt compelled to write a review of our stay after such a great stay. We stayed here as part of a group attending a family wedding. The property is lovely, great people and good breakfast, but they don't know if they want to be a hotel or a pub and end up doing neither very well. The rooms are comfortable but towels were missing and fridge/hairdryer/showers not working. No t.v.s and limited bar opening... More
