I booked a long way ahead for a night's stay and had forgotten just how much the bedroom was, but on reflection I think what we had ( a twin room on the second floor for £135) was expensive, even for an expensive area like Richmond. The room was clean and spacious with good quality linen on the beds and... More

Our urgent trip to London saw us searching for accommodation. Through a recommendation of a friend, we ended up at the Dukes Head Inn, in Richmond. Pat and his wife Mairead made us very welcome. Our twin room was roomy, with a television and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a water machine outside the room for everyone to... More

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I booked here and wish I hadn't. The car park fits two cars comfortably so be prepared to be asked to move your car or leave your keys behind the bar. The room had stained furniture and a mattress without a protector, so who knows who else's bodily fluids you are sharing! The windows... More

This Pub B+B is a gem. You could not get a better deal in what is nigh on Central London the transport links being so close and frequent. The welcome is faultless with free off street parking if you are early enough and not too feint hearted re 137 point turns.Dinner menu and beer excellent. Room clean and comfortable though,... More

Great value, great service and great location!! I hadn't really thought about a B&B but I stumbled across some reviews on Trip Advisor and thought I would try it out. They weren't wrong - I thoroughly recommend the Dukes Head Inn to anybody looking for a simple place to stay.

Small cozy hotel with a great pub downstairs serving a large variety of good food. Conveniently close to the bus station, tube station and Richmond town. We stayed here to be close to Twickenham where we watched South Africa play England. An easy 30 minute walk to the stadium. Owner run so the personal touches are all there.

My husband and i our son and 2 friends stayed here on the 8th and 9th of November. Ideal location for us as we were going to Twickenham on the Saturday. Met by the landlady who was very friendly and showed us to our rooms. Rooms were nice and clean. Tea making facilities. Patrick the landlord was very friendly and... More

Patrick is a fabulous down to earth landlord who gave us a great welcome, and even carried our bags upstairs! This Inn is just like being at home, but with the benefit of a full bar. There is great food, morning noon and night. It has an olde worlde charm about it. It is very clean, and the rooms are spacious... More

I spend regularly a night at the Dukes head. This is a comfortable hotel at a very good price. Food in the bar is good and cheap. Nothing grand or great in this hotel where you just feel like home. Enjoyable personal and nice owner who come with you to show you the room. Free wifi, comfortable bed and good... More
