I've seen negative reviews for this hotel. All I can say is that my welcome was fantastic. The staff were warm and friendly and the room was clean, well stocked and had a great view. I was given lots of local information on arrival and I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends. If you want Trump Tower... more

I've happen to click on this site and am chucking to read these negative comments on Quinns Hotel, Sheen Rd, Richmond, London. I stayed there for about 3 weeks in June 1968, and it seems nothing has changed there ever since! Same unfriendly reception, same funny smells and cigarette smoke, same shabby carpets and furnishing, same bewildering rooms, same shared... more

I booked Quinns hotel for an overnight - at £105 for the night it wasn't exactly cheap but in this area clearly not top of the range either. The first thing that anyone booking at this doss house should know is that a standard room is NOT ensuite - it is for a shared bathroom. This was not mentioned to... more

We stayed at this place on a quick visit to London to attend Wimbledon. Our hearts sank as we arrived and saw a curtain hanging from the front window and the very shabby exterior. The entrance area was stifling and down at heel.We checked our room and found it to be adequate with fresh linen. The ensuite bathroom was tiny with some tiles... more

Overall the hotel was terrible. We checked in with a friendly hello to the lady on reception and she didn't even look up let alone acknowledge us speaking. The hotel was very shabby and needed a lot of work. The rooms weren’t much better and felt dirty, which was probably due to the general shabbiness of the room. We noticed... more

We were put in a room up on the second floor and with no lift and heavey bags to carry, we didn't get any help with our bags. Bathroom had been recently tidied up but they forgot to clean the grout of the walls, shower had no temprature control and standing in the bath is dangerous. Floor in the room... more

Stayed for one night while visiting a relative. The room I had was OK, but the shower produced very little water and the temperature could not be regulated well. The whole system is outdated and should be renovated, just like other things in the hotel. The price of 65 pounds for a single room is certainly too high for the... more

I booked this hotel for family members when they were visiting the area. Admittedly I had no problem making the booking, and reconfirming it on the day. I know the Richmond area well and had see Quinns from the outside, a large Victorian House with a pretty ivy creeper on the outside. It looked perfectly respectable. Appearances can be deceptive.... more

I stayed in Quinns Hotel for three nights while visiting a family member, paying £65 per night. I appreciate the hotel is in Richmond and it's a lovely area, however this hotel is horrid and not worthy of its 3 stars or the room rate. All the entrance carpets are really dirty and the whole place is shabby and extremely... more
