I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occassion's. I have not yet found a fault it with it, hence me going back and back. Yes the rooms are small, its not a purpose built hotel. so dont expect Travel lodge size rooms. They are doing a refurb. I see new carpets and beds are being put in place. The... More

Not too bad of a location but typical tiny room in London. The lady that operates the "hotel" is nice and also includes a simple breakfast. But... I would consider this a very budget hotel that needs much upgrading. The worn out carpets, squeaky floors, mold in the shower, broken furniture and most importantly old worn out, stained, lumpy beds... More

Reading some of the reviews on this site not sure I stayed at the same hotel!! The location of the hotel was perfect - we went to Kew for an evening concert and with the bus stop right outside the door could not have been better. The rooms was clean - I know it was not very big but we... More

I think the over riding description for my room would be tired. It was clean, the bed was comfortable enough, but everything was worn out, or had been replaced on a budget. Given it was "only" £70 for a night in Richmond, it's pretty hard to grumble. The location is spot on, just a minute from the Thames, and shops... More

The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean. The building is old (it is Richmond upon thames!!) so you do hear people coming and going. The front faces a road and it is a bit noisy at the start and end of the working day especially with the window open (and since there is no air conditioning, theywill need to be... More

Don't go near this dump. Nice area, but hotel is a shambles, no hot water, spiders in my uncomfortable bed, rubbish breakfast, I'd rather sleep in a bin. Hopefully this helps someone to avoid, should be shut in my opinion. Shame, as Richmond as plenty to offer.

Fabulous position, close to everything and next to all eateries and shops. The rooms are very worn out, date back to the '70s. The tub faucets were so old and rusty the came off when you turned them.... Cleanliness is not exactly their priority and the bed duvet wasn't exactly fresh out of the laundry's. The breakfast was just ok-ish.... More

I spent some time looking into where to stay in Richmond and whilst I don't mind staying in two star hotels if they are basic and clean, I do mind staying in a two star hotel that felt uncared for and unclean. To begin with the young girl on Reception was very pleasant and helpful and is the only reason... More

Wonderful location in central Richmond bit of a problem if you are trying to unload outside and their is no parking at the hotel but the very friendly lady on the desk advised my husband` where we could park for free . The bed was a double but very very small we did not have a great nights sleep ,... More

Location is quite good, but marred by the difficulty of unloading in front of the hotel on the busy Petersham Road, and the lack of parking. Parking on street is available locally after 6.30 pm if you're quick and the manager was very helpful in directing us. If you do have to use a public car park, the closest 24... More
