Just about the nicest experience I have ever had at a London hotel~ I was booked into the "room with a view" - a small balcony overlooking the view toward the Thames. That alone was worth the trip! We stayed here for a couple of nights when getting married nearby. They really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and our guests which stayed at the hotel too commented on how good it had been. The rooms are lovely, the views are lovely and the food was good too! Excellent service, comfortable rooms and a quiet superb location. We stayed for two nights on our way to Turkey and came back for another night on our way home. The Petetrsham is just far enough from the center of Richmond to allow for country walks and close enough to for an easy stroll along the Thames to the town center.... more
