Nice location , but the hotel itself lacks something. The receptionist was pleasant enough and told us how to get to our room, which was a good job because it would have taken forever if she hadn't. Tiny room and toilet, view of a wall and window, tired décor and very basic indeed. The food is poor, my meal was... More

I stayed in this hotel over a few days and after reading previous reviews we were willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. However after paying £270 pounds for 3 nights we were highly disappointed from the moment we arrived and it was only to get worst! No parking it's £5.50 for 24 hours and reception isn't open... More

I do not even know where to begin with this terrible 'hotel' firstly me and a friend paid £270 for a 3 night stay in this hotel. And to put it lightly we would be better off staying in a hostel. I've never experienced such a rip off in my life! We waited 20 minutes to be checked in when... More

Comfortable & clean, but small, room. It had a double bed in room that would be ideal for a single. I kept knocking my knee on the tea tray on one side and the chair on the other. I was very pleased to find sheet & blankets an not a duvet. Tiny shower door, difficult to negotiate for anyone who... More

Had 4 nights at the Seaward, with Travel style holidays. Checked in, hotel staff are wonderful, happy, friendly and nothing too much trouble. The food is good, plenty in fact too much, shame as so much must get wasted if they made the portions a little smaller there would be less waste. Plenty of choice of puddings and all home made.... I have visited the hotel on many occasions now and have always been met by a friendly staff. Rooms may be a bit dated but this is made up for by location and value. I have stayed on half board and b&b and the set menu is excellent with a great choice. Bar menu is also good and would recommend... More

Not at all pleased with our stay at the seaward in April 2014. We had two rooms, both were not clean and the wallpaper/curtains ect looked like it was about to come off. Needs a revamp!! Restaurant was ok- menu looked ok (slightly expensive) but food not particularly exciting (veg tasted bland, and was watery). Service reasonable- waiters seemed rushed... More

We arrived after a long coach journey and were greeted by smiling staff. The location is perfect, across the road from the beach. A short walk to the Pier and into the town. Bus stops right outside the hotel. Our room was small but beds were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny. The decor is dated but the... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights from the 14th-17th March 2014. After I had booked the hotel I started to read the reviews and started to panic as to what I was to expect once we arrived. However, the hotel was quite cheap 150 pounds for three nights, on arrival we were pleasantly greeted and the room... More

You maybe surprised by my opening title but I tell it how it really is, to begin with I am a coach driver who visits many hotels, I know what the companies charge etc etc, having just spent the weekend here at the seaward, I think a lot of you are members of that exclusive club. Hrc better known as... More
