i visited Beachlands for an anniversary meal, it was amazing, the food was wonderful and the staff were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and we really enjoyed our visit. We would definitely recommend this place for a meal.

Comfortable room, well appointed bathroom, helpful friendly staff and great breakfast. The pool is a good size and heated sensibly. What lets the place down is that it is run as a wedding and party venue and ordinary guests have to put up with the noise of the disco and screeching party-goers in the garden. Five stars for facilities and... More

Bedrooms are old fashioned - towels and bed sheets are never changed or refreshed - have to ask for new shampoo and soap to be replaced each day - kids are running the dining room and don't know what they are doing so it you don't ask then you won't get anything - I recommend Oak & Glass or Church... We stayed for three nights at the beginning of July when the hotel was very busy. There was no fall off in the quality of service or standard of cuisine which incidentally is excellent. The hotel keeps a nicely balanced wine list and the wine itself is well kept. We were in the lawn house which was light and airy... More

I stayed at Beachlands for one night in June after travelling many hours on business. It was pleasure to get to the hotel and park in their own car park. The receptionest was very friendly and showed me to my room wich I thought was a lovely personal touch. I walked to and from Weston super Mare Pier which is approximayely... More

The trouble with choosing a hotel with lots of excellent reviews is that one's expectation is so high and can only lead to disappointment. We had the two room family suite and the second room was very dirty. Windowsill was actually filthy. The nets were very grubby in both rooms and the bed making extremely poor. Sheets not much better... More

We have returned from a six night stay at this hotel; the room, which was facing the road, was surprisingly quiet and handily near to the small indoor swimming pool. The room was comfortable but there were minor issues with maintenance, torn nets, cistern handle loose, coat hanger on back of door broken. but this was counteracted by the excellent... More

We stayed only one night as a break on a long journey. Expected the usual British private hotel like Fawlty Towers. Instead we found a small annex room finished in New England style, a very quiet location, charming owners, and a first class breakfast. Very reminiscent of our stay in Provincetown, Cape Cod (see my review of Gabriel's) Really nice... More

Great venue for a small meeting. The four of us sat for the first three hours in the front room and it was really comfortable, private, quiet and we were well attended. For lunch, we carried on our meeting in the garden, also an easy spot for a productive meeting. Our business associates stayed overnight in the hotel and were... More

This must be one of the best privately owned hotels I have stayed in! Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, and good food. With the added bonus of a small pool and sauna, together with parking very close to the room what more could you want? One of my two big hates about hotels are the lack of walk-in showers - Beachlands... More
