Was impressed with size of rooms and there were some lovely sea views at front of flat, though unfortunately views at the rear were depressing, i.e. derelict looking housing with dirty back yards. The only other negative was the bathroom and toilet was extremely compact, so much so that it was only just suitable for very slim people! Overall this... More

Went on a David Urquart trip to Weston, food very good staff excellent. Very clean but rooms do need a bit of work. Overall I would go again.

Rooms were OK, food was average but the more than friendly polish staff really made things go with a bang, extras were not overpriced and will definately be booking again.

We stayed July 2005 - run down - car parking was a nightmare as they seem to have a dispute with a neighbour who blocks vehicles in Hash browns were unedible - greasy and the rest basic - we were breaking our journey on the way home from our main holiday in Cornwall and had just booked the one night... Room in need of renovation; the carpet had seen better days and needed a clean. There was no shower, only a bath. The breakfast was OK but I have eaten better. On the whole rather a depressing place to stay.

My wife and I encountered many problems at the Maidera - first off, the price advertised on most website’s is wrong - it was actually £30 per person as opposed to per room. The room itself also had a few problems - the curtains could not be drawn, and we were on ground level so it afforded no privacy. Our... More

Excellent hotel with a marvellous view across the bay from the bedroom (sea view) and guest lounge. English breakfast was superb with a choice of 5 of the 9 items on the menu. The hotel was very clean and the staff at all times very helpful. Strongly recommend a visit to this hotel when staying in Weston.
