Arrived as opened door stunk of tobacco smoke, freezing cold. Shown up to our room where again it was absolutely freezing cold one tiny little electric radiator for the whole room, the bed was squashed between the walls where u could not walk round my partner & I constantly knocked our legs on the bed base, the quilt was a... Booked this hotel on 7th July 2014 for the Weston carnival so in plenty of time. Being disabled we required mobility scooter access and room availability which all was sorted. On 23rd October, 17 weeks after the booking and 2 weeks before we were going they called to say they had over booked for that week and only offered the... More

Booked here as it was the only place my friend and I could find that wasn't full or stipulating a 3 night minimum stay on a weekend in July. For the price it wasn't too bad. Pluses were a very decent breakfast included in the price, friendly welcome, quiet room and excellent location. The decor was very old-fashioned and could... More

A warm welcome on arrival.Breakfast good and plenty of it.Great location, parking is tandem style and only 4 spaces. The Bedroom was very dusty and generally needed a good clean. Also the wifi was not very good.but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 5 nights room was clean and John and Jackie were very friendly. Downside was that we had the balcony room on the top floor, the toilet was very small and if you shut the door you felt claustrophobic Could have been better if the shower toilet and sink were all together. Only parking for two cars out the... More

We have just enjoyed two nights at the Sunfold, my travelling companions had a large family room on the second floor with a sea view. I had a twin room on the floor above them. A travel cot was provided for us in the family room and a high chair was placed ready for us in the dining room for... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights in the sunfold and we really enjoyed it, the woman and her husband (forgot there names) that owned the hotel were really lovely people and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and cozy. Only downside is that we was on the top floor and there was no lift, lugging the suitcases... More

We very much enjoyed staying at The Sunfold. We found our hosts welcoming and friendly from the outset and felt that we were appreciated as guests. We had the room with an outside seating area right at the top, I will warn that there’s a climb to get there but it’s well worth it for the sunset views over the... More

Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights for our 40th anniversary expecting high standards. I work for a big hotel in birmingham and the standards there were shocking. When I arrived being old I struggled with the suitcases as I had to lift the cases over the wall because cars were parked in the way of steps and... More
