When my friend announced he was getting married @ Banchory Lodge Hotel, my partner & I immediately booked a room to avoid the hassles of getting back to Aberdeen @ silly o clock. Can't beat rolling back to your room after a decent day out fuelled with bubbly et al. On arrival check in was very smooth & we were... more

I stayed here for two nights after my wedding, and overall it was a slightly mixed experience. The location is stunning - peaceful, beautiful, but close to lovely Banchory shops and also Aberdeen. I am local, and still feel this is one of the loveliest spots in Aberdeenshire. I loved our room, big old four poster, sofa at french doors... more

I was abosolutely stunned by this hotel. It is set in the picturesque village of Banchory by the beautiful River Dee. The location for this hotel is idyllic in every aspect. I stayed in the Victorian Suite, it was gorgeous! The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating, they made me feel so welcome. The food was delicious and I ate... more

This hotel is well loved by some and we would have considered ourselves part of that fraternity as we have stayed there before, but our room this time (20) was cold, with no central heating, and the hardest mattress we have ever attempted to sleep upon! There was a fanheater which we left on for hours in order to get... more

I stayed with my fiance at Banchory Lodge Hotel a couple of weeks ago to see if it would be a possible venue for our wedding next year. We were only in the door 10 minutes when we decided that Banchory Lodge was the hotel for us. The staff were charming, courtious, polite and could not of been any more... more

I visited this hotel at the weekend as a potential venue for my wedding guests to stay - am not having the wedding at the hotel (thankfully), but at a location near by... We went in and explained that we would like to check their availability and rates for the relevant dates and would be it possible to see a... more

I travel extensively and tend to use public transport. A brief walk to the perimeter of the grounds, followed by a cheerful walk down the established tree lined drive, led me to a surprisingly bright and open frontage of established British Architecture. My free spirited nature was drawn immediately to the tall trees set in established lawns, leading gracefully down... more

I am a middle aged man with little fear of the natural world, until now. The hotel itself was fantastic the company was wonderful. However I was in the tower room and through the night I was awoken by my bed levitating and shaking. This only stopped when I dashed to turn the light on. What a week would recommend... more
