This is a lovely location and our food was fair. Our wine however wasn't great, no decanter and a screw top which wasn't opened in front of us either. Clearly some staff training is needed. Staff were very friendly though and super efficient. Canapés before dinner were nice however our meal was just OK, I wouldn't go back based on... More

The Raemoir is the ideal place to deeply dive into the tradisional scottish manoir castel style. the housekeepers are so kind , attentive and very professional. a wonderfull place to stay at, away from pressure and modern civilisation but with all the confort and amenities

Rather nice afternoon tea. Food very nice and a pleasant room to enjoyed the tea and surroundings. Can recommend and will no doubt return in future. The hotel looks like it would be good for a short stay too. Most impressive approach up the main drive.

We booked The Private Room for an annual Xmas get together with five couples at Raemoir. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted at reception and taken to our private dining room where we sat and had pre dinner drinks in front of an open fire . The meal was first class and the service for... More

We were a party of six adults and two young teenage boys who lunched here on Boxing Day for their festive brunch. There was excellent breakfast, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns, smoked salmon and kedgeree. As much as you wanted. Followed by roast beef, (beautifully cooked and as tender as butter) yorkshires, and veggies. Desert was a choice... More

This is the best food you can get in the Banchory area. Small choice of starters but the lobster and the pear and Stilton in pastry stood out. The lamb was lovely and pink and more importantly tasty. French chef I think. Good wine choice. Rioja gran riserva excellent. Great service. The hotel beautifully decorated. Go if you can.

I have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and it is (now was) our favourite of anywhere in the world ! we stayed recently for a couple of nights with friends and we wish we hadn't.............. The food was grim and we'd heard rave reviews of the award winning chef so was really surprised. The menu was very... More

Myself and husband got married at Raemoir at the end of November this year. As soon as we arrived at Raemoir we knew that it was the perfect venue, a beautiful setting and a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere. Throughout the planning process Neil and his staff were helpful and very flexible with our requirements. We had wanted a very... More

Having returned many times to Raemoir House for a short stay on the way to the Highlands, our greeting last visit could not be beat! We were welcomed with opened arms and treated as honored guests!
