This review will not take long. I can agree with every positive comment about this hotel made by other reviewers and did not experience any of the negatives which have been mentioned by some others. This is a very very good hotel in a lovely location and the attention to detail leaves nothing to chance.

I work away a lot and stay in many hotels and I must say this is one of the finest that I have ever visited. I have seen some negative comments about the Manager but had no problems with any of the staff they were all incredibly friendly. On to the hotel: the building is stunning inside and out with... We are local to Banchory and have visited Raemoir House Hotel many times for birthday and anniversary meals over a number of years. We were there last night for my birthday dinner. The hotel was quite quiet for a Friday night but that's ok. It really is a beautiful house and the furnishings and surroundings make it feel quite a... More

Just back from a three night stay at the luxurious Raemoir House Hotel. Absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Raemoir room, a beautiful four poster bedroom with stunning views over the surrounding grounds, beautifully decorated and lovely and cosy. The bathroom was huge, with a gorgeous deep roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. The staff were so lovely and... More

Arrived on a quiet Monday afternoon for our afternoon for a 21st birthday. Greated at the door where someone put down some grit as it was lethal that day! Taken through to lounge where our afternoon tea was set out. Served very quickly by the waiter who asked for our tea orders. The sandwiches were well flavoured! Our tea got... More

You just have to try this place out, it was amazing. OK, we didn´t try the rooms as we went for afternoon tea but after meeting David and Kevin things got really interesting. Such great characters that made the place for us and the quality of the food was exceptionally high only matched by the intensity of the service we... More

I stayed at Raemoir recently as part of a larger group of 11 friends and family for a get together before Christmas. The hotel is magnificent, from the minute you turn off the main road up the long drive way you get the feeling it will be something special. The public areas are decorated and furnished in a way which... More

This Hotel is set in lovely grounds, nice and quiet and plenty of places for a walk. The house is very traditionally decorated with wonderful things to look at. Only toilet was upstairs which could be a disadvantage for many people but the toilet was so clean and luxurious! Service was very slow but we had a beautifully set table... More

Dear linzi50 Thank you for posting a review of your recent Raemoir experience, we all appreciate the comments. The toilets have been upstairs for longer than we have been here but there are plans afoot.... I am not sure when you were here, we have had some hugely busy nights and, as with any such business, we can be challenged... More
