My wife and I have just completed a five day break at this hotel. It's well situated to explore Royal Deeside. We found the hotel warm and comfortable with very friendly staff and very good food. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I've worked all over the world , and mainly now over the UK , and honestly never stayed in a place that makes you feel like your at home as much as here does, it's like a family welcome walking in the door , food is brilliant been through the menu, not a bad item on it, rooms are beautiful... Having booked tickets for Balmoral Castle on line, we now required a place to use as a base for our trip; We chose the Best Western Burnett Hotel at Banchory, and it didn't let us down. This Hotel is situated on the main road through Banchory in Aberdeenshire, it has plenty of parking spaces, a few to the front, but... More

Stayed here for close location to a work meeting the following day. Usually best western’s are a safe bet but this was the exception. Firstly, the small car park at the rear had very awkward spaces, I chose one which looked a safe bet not to be blocked in in the morning, wouldn't recommend parking a people carrier or 4x4... More

We weren't planning on staying here but accidentally stumbled into the area and needed a place to stay. We figured it was just a bed for the night but we couldn't help but be charmed. Jackie at the front desk was amazingly helpful. The hotel was adorable. Our rooms were very clean. The locals at the bar were a pleasure... More

This is my kind of pub/hotel. Very welcoming staff and good service. They had upgraded me to a double bedded room as requested on booking which was good. The view was to the rear of the hotel so not picturesque, but maybe facing the street would have been noisy. The bed could have been more comfortable but I slept well... More

Close to all amenities in Banchory. Bed and pillows uncomfortable so we didn't have a great sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Good choice of food at breakfast and served quickly. Would stay here again.

room was warm and definite changes in improvements since I last stayed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bar had a good local warm atmosphere. I had bruschetta for starters and it was really good, very fresh and tasty. Had fish and chips - huge ! Loved it all happy tummy and slept the whole night. Will be back.
