If you want a reasonable beer then this is an ok place. Food wise be wary. Remember this place is under new ownership and is nothing like previous reviews, Our food was either cold or partially cooked. The reheated lasagne was extremely crispy round the edges. We sent back food to be cooked and the mushy peas were just marrow... More

We used this lovely wee hotel for only one night as a base for my wife who refuses to do camping, so she stayed in the Balmoral room with lovely views while my grandson and I used the campsite next door.We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant and the next morning we all had a huge Scottish breakfast,... We stayed here for one night while visiting Deeside. Our room had a view of the river. The standard of cleanliness was first class and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (we had the full Scottish, but continental breakfast was also available) and served in the bright restaurant again overlooking the river. The staff were helpful and cheerful.... More

We were only at the Feughside Inn for one night as a stopover between Dunnottar Castle and Balmoral Castle. Didn't know what to expect since it's not in a busy area; so we were very pleasantly surprised by our find! Donald and Catherine were very warm and welcoming as well as helpful with any of our questions. The room was... More

Gorgeous location not far from Banchory - perfect for exploring Deeside. My room (Inveraray) was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and had a gleaming bathroom and stunning view across the river to Clachnaben. And it had wifi. I was warned about possible noise from the bar below but didn't find it a problem. Food absolutely delicious, both dinner and breakfast, and... More

Nice hotel under fairly new ownership and that shows, our family room was very clean and fresh, unfortunately right above the rather boisterous bar which didn't bother us much but we heard the room next door complaining, 2nd night much less noise and I guess the noisy night was a one off. Service was attentive and helpful, Price was fair.... More

Went to Feughside Inn for supper tonight having been before when they had not long reopened. The service was excellent as before and we both had delicious steak pie and chips/potatoes. Trevor the chef makes excellent food and he always makes an effort to come out and see if the food is ok and he always has a smile on... More

I could not fault this hotel from the very good food , the clean room to the very friendly staff . All in all a very pleasant stay at this hotel . Ideal for travelling in to Aberdeen on business as well as exploring the countryside.

Been going here past 20 years, seen different owners etc. Popped in over the hill from Montrose, on motorbike on an evening run. So not actually staying in hotel. Friendly service, nice to sit outside in the sun, and admire local scenery, watch the world go by; a heron by the stream, an Ariel single plodding along, plus odd tractor,... More

Had an excellent week at the Feughside Inn, making it our base for day trips throughout Royal Deeside. Everybody is very friendly and helpful; the restaurant serves good, home-cooked Scottish meals and an excellent breakfast; and the rooms are very clean and cosy. The 'craik' in the bar is fun too! We are a couple in our 50s and a... More
