We stayed at Red Oaks Farm for one night and had a lovely stay. As a group of friends we took all three rooms at the B&B and were made to feel very welcome - by the owners and the cute dogs! The rooms are very clean, have everything you need and the beds are comfy. Breakfast was very tasty... More

I have been staying at red oaks farm for several month due to working in the area, the rooms are great and the working farm is a delight, an escape from the busy town I live in. I have fed the lambs and shared in the joy of the seasons. In the winter it is like a picture post card,... More

Sorry to say the noise was terrible the entire stay. The dogs did nothing but bark, plus one of the Jack Russels actually did a wee on our bedroom floor whilst we were being shown to our room. Did not fill us with confidence about the hygiene of the place. Too much cockerel noise throughout the morning and late evening.... More

my husband and I stayed her for one night last weekend. We were visiting our son in the village and wanted an "upgrade" from sleeping on his floor! This was an excellent choice- warm, spotlessly clean- everything you could want. Breakfast was really delicious (I had scrambled eggs - the eggs were from one of their hens- fabulous!) About twenty... More

My wife, dog and I spent two nights at Red Oaks Farm in late February 2012. The hospitality was superb, nothing we asked for was too much trouble. One thing is certain, you will never starve or be cold there! The house is lovely, probably what you expect for a farm house, beautifly cluttered! The room we had was very... More

We received a lovely warm welcome and a nice cup of tea and cake on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated having both countryside and village on the doorstep. It was possible to have a country walk and hike from the guesthouse up to "White Nancy", which we very much enjoyed.

Our stay at Red Oaks Farm was something to remember, in the most positive of ways. Brenda was a friendly landlady who gave us – despite our late show up without reservation – a warm welcome including Tea & scones, plenty of advises and an outstanding breakfast. That breakfast took place at one large table with all the other guests,... More

We stayed at Red Oaks for one night when attending a wedding at Shrigley Hall (only a few miles up the road). It was like staying at a friend's house, with very comfy beds. Brenda was very accomodating - she let us check in early and and whipped us up a tasty and much-needed cooked breakfast. The only negative was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was like being at home. Brenda made us feel so welcome, gave us a cup of tea and cake when we arrived. Red oaks is a working farm full of shepp and cows, which surround the 7 year old house. Beautiful landcape around the farm. Breakfast served on a long table to... More
