We recently stayed at the Wild Boar Country House Hotel and received lovely, friendly service from the staff there. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Lovely complimentary toiletries. Restaurant and other rooms felt really welcoming and relaxing. Food was excellent and a good choice a breakfast time. I would recommend this for short break. Plenty of interesting places to... More

“Highly unrecommended for bikers, definitely a locals pub”

We are in a small bike club (6 members on this particular trip) and decided to go camping to a local(ish) site to give the younger inexperienced members a taste of rally life and to get used to camping together.
