Ok where to start, well just spent two weeks at above in 'The Hayloft' it was lovely. We had two weeks of good weather and there was loads to do and see, we haven't even started on stately homes yet. My Mum, Dad, Uncle, Auntie and Partner all together and no we weren't crowded at all there is plenty of... More

We stayed for one week in the cottage and found that it as very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The welcome package was very good and the scones and jam were lovely. I would highly recommend this cottage. There are many places of interest within easy reach so there is plenty to keep you occupied

We stayed at The Hayloft with family, with other family members staying in The Coach House next door - see separate review. The cottage overall was spotless, very well equipped and comfortable. We had ample space for the 6 of us staying there, plus were able to accommodate the further 4 family members from The Coach House for dinner around... More

We have just come back from a week's stay in The Coach House and I must say have thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and very homely. The welcome package which waited us on arrival included home made scones and jam which were delicious. Having not visited the area before it was great to explore... More

We have spent the last week at The Hayloft for a family celebration. The 3 en-suite bedrooms provided just the right mix of accommodation while the living and dining areas were spacious and comfortable. The property was clean and very well equipped in all aspects and there was little to find fault with. We were aware of some traffic noise... More

We stayed here as part of our parents 50th wedding anniversary and overall had a lovely stay. The Hayloft is well appointed and comfortable, with an excellent location, although not if you don't drive, as there is very little in nearby village. However, there are a couple of gripes which mark it down a little..........very hard towels which had been... More

We have just spent 5 days in great comfort in The Coach House. It made a perfect base for visiting friends nearby and for exploring this beautiful part of Cheshire. The comfortable accommodation feels like home and the building is beautiful. Ivor and Lin made us very welcome and the homemade scones on arrival were delicious, not to mention the... More

We spent Bank holiday weekend at the cottage. We are a family with older children and their partners. The cottage was really nice with lots of space. Ivor arranged golf for the men, which they enjoyed. Not driving I would have liked more to do in the village. But would recommend this well equipped cottage, I even managed to Sunday... More

The Hayloft was a perfect holiday retreat, just returned after meeting up with old friends for a five day break, couldn't fault the cleanliness or quality of all the fixtures and fittings, the welcome basket/scones on arrival was a lovely touch. Restaurants recommended by Lyn the owner also turned out to be first class. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending a... More

We have just come back from a long weekend in The Coach House. We loved it, it was perfect for us - mum, dad and two young kids. Ivor and Lyn friendly, helpful and accommodating. Extremely clean and homely. We instantly felt right at home. Welcome basket is great. Kids loved the sheep, ducks and play area. Blaze Hill is... More
