I spent one night in this small b&b. Nice place, but no flavour of a traditional British place, probably somehow a bit too commercial. They have a restaurant and probably too occupied to serve the customers. the breakfast is in the average. Not a special place, but after all not too bad either.

Once upon a time the service and food in this pub was good. So what happened ? Food average, service appalling, attitude from staff disgraceful, attitude from management unforgivable. This establishment has now clearly put profit before professionalism and customer service. The Management perhaps would benefit from a visit to a charm school or at least a course in ettiquet... We stayed here for one night whilst attending a family function in Hazel Grove. Our room was a small double. It was well laid out; had a comfortable bed and all the facilities you would expect and exactly as listed on the hotels.com website. We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff, had a good breakfast in the morning and if... More

Part of a group of eight staying at nearby caravan site, we all had excellent food with no complaints. Our orders were taken at the table because there was a group of us and it did not make sense for us all to be going back & forth to the bar. All staff were attentive and friendly and food was... Another visit with the family saw us dining sumptuously, we had a couple of Sunday roasts, a lamb shank and pork medallions in a peppercorn sauce. The pork was excellent, do tender it just melted in the mouth, my sons lamb shank vanished in no time whilst silence reigned over the table whilst our good ladies demolished their sunday roasts.... I first had a meal at the Church House Inn in Bollington about 5 years ago. Great honest pub meals, generous helpings of sides/ chips and vegetables . On my most recent visit they had changed the menu and the plates went square! I ordered tuna steak and it was over cooked and the sweet chilli sauce tasted like it... More

I always go there when I go home and can highly recommend their Chilli as well as their fabulous Sunday lunch. Always really friendly but do book a table otherwise Sundays get booked up! Also good to meet up with old friends......
