Stayed here within the past week and couldn't praise the place highly enough. Check in took only a few moments and staff where more than friendly during the check in process and showing me to my room. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay in a very central location. Bar and bar... More

Booked a family room and got a great deal for four people for 2 nights b & b..Firstly when we arrived I said I would go on ahead and check in, couldn't find the Reception area, it was inside(behind) the bar, which was dark and dismal. I was expecting a normal hotel Reception area and was very disappointed that they... More

Came to stay after a wedding party and we were extremely disappointed. It is such a lovely building, with original features that could make it somewhere special, however it is run down, dirty and smelly. Our room had stains over the carpet, the double bed was broken and the single bed quite small. The headboard had cigarette stains. the window... More

Sorry to say the food was just poor indeed and cold. I had soup for a starter which had a packet taste. The burger was cold and red in the middle. The waiter spilt a full glass of wine over my lap when serving us. They made no apology for doing so and didn't even replace the wine.

My wife and i stayed here for 2 nights, June 13th and 14th. Lovely place, got everything you need. We had a small back room, with no sea view but the room was more than adequate. Staff are very friendly, nice breakfast included and the bar meals are excellent.

Over on business again and was made feel very welcome as before. Keep up the good work Royal/Windsor and looking forward to the new build. Tried out the new Aurora swimming pool and leisure centre. Absolutely fabulous. Staff at hotel told me new street paving and landscaping happening in Bangor soon.
