The friendliness and laid-back (but efficient) feeling was second-to-none. We were on our third location on a tour of Ireland and it was by far the best experience. I was so tired of receptionists quoting "hotel policy" etc. but in Clandeboye Lodge the guest really feels they come first and the staff are there to make sure everything is okay.... more

I came to this hotel because I was attending a wedding here but would stay again anytime I could. Staff are friendly and helpful and seem genuinely interested in ensuring you have the best stay possible. Room service was speedy and the food was wonderful - scallops and sea food chowder. The food at the wedding was also great and... more

This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Two years ago we got married in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel and from the word go I could not fault it one bit. We went back for our second wedding anniversary and I have to say it was brilliant. The Restaurant menu covered all diners, from vege to meat... more

We booked this hotel on the strength of the comments on trip advisor and were not disappointed. The meals were fabulous, attention to detail was most impressive and the service was always spot on. The executive room we had was immaculate and it was nice to be outwith the city but still close by. We didn't have much room left... more

We selected the hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. I could be picky and list one or two minor niggles but that would be unfair as the overall atmosphere of this hotel the comfort of the rooms and the genuine friendliness and warmth of the staff is second to none. The setting is pretty and... more

I was looking for an intimate setting for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and chose the Clandeboye Lodge because I had some previous experience of its quality of food and service. Well it did not disappoint! From the first contact about the event the staff were so helpful and accommodating, making sure all arrangements were as we wanted them. We... more

We recently spent a very enjoyable and relaxing overnight stay in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel. The staff were all very courteous and attentive. The food in the Clanbrasserie was beautiful accompanied by a very nice bottle of wine. The room was spacious, very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were excellent. more

This is a very pleasant building conversion in a beautiful and yet convenient location. It is not easy to find. TomTom sat nav takes you up a track to a farm! When I eventually found the hotel, I still could not locate the main entrance (I tried to register in the building they use for weddings and major events). Staff... more

Myself and my husband have just spent a three night break at this hotel. Attention to detail was excellent as was food choice and presentation. Very friendly staff who were extremely professional yet unobtrusive . Plus advice on places in the locality to visit. A most relaxing and peaceful haven. Hope to return soon for some more pampering. more

This was the second time I have stayed at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel and yet again it was perfect. Staying here ensures you get a really good nights sleep as it is so peaceful. Rooms are lovely with all the extras included. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food extremely good. I would highly recommend this hotel and... more
