I stayed at the Ennislare for 2 nights in January 2015. I was totally happy with my stay, the room was good and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly, provided an excellent service and helped in any way they could. The location is very good, approx 5 mins walk to the marina and to the train station.... More

Stayed here on a night out in Bangor earlier in the month. Convenient to the main streets so very handy if you need somewhere to put your head down after a night out. Clean and friendly and very inexpensive. We didn't make it up in time for breakfast but it smelt great.

I have just returned to NZ after staying 11 days in Bangor to visit a sick relative. This was such a great place to stay - central location, clean, warm and comfortable rooms. A room at the front of the house with a view is preferable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I recently return to Bangor to stay close to my former home and chose Ennislare for it's location and victorian charm. The breakfast is outstanding and included in the cost of the stay. There is a fabulous buffet of cereals, juices, yogurt and milk and hot breakfast made to order. This alone makes the choice real value for money. The... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while over in Northern Ireland for a friends wedding. We had a front facing room on the first floor which, although there was just the two of us, was a family room consisting of double, 2 singles and small seating area with en suite. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and tea/coffee making facilities.... More

We have stayed at Ennislare House a few times in the past and it didn't disappoint on our return. We were pleased that they still welcomed cats as we came to Bangor to show at the Ulster show. As my husband is disabled we asked for a room near the ground floor and were given one right near the stairs... More

The room had a nice view, was clean, charming, large bathroom... We loved it. The breakfast was wonderful as well. The ladies were charming, helpful and kind. We so enjoyed walking along the dock and hearing the birds. We'd go back!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay with friends whilst attending a few dog shows in Belfast. No complaints from us at all about our room, spacious and warm with a large en-suite and great shower and also very comfy bed with the crispest freshest of bedsheets. Jenny was very helpful and chatty, and the lady who served... More

We were so pleasantly surprised on entering Ennislare guest house. Our room was spotless. The lady of the house could not be faulted. Breakfast was 10/10. Just be advised it is located on the top of a steep hill.

The people who works there were sooo nice , the lady owner was so nice that she prepared the breakfast to us even after the breakfast times. The room was clean and nice, I had small problem in confirming my reservation before arriving but the owner was really helpful about it. I would totally visit it again.
