We called here as we had a Groupon deal for a two course high tea. Staff were friendly and efficient. There was a retro feel as the carpets and decor have probably not been refurbished since the hotel opened. There is a lift available to the restaurant. The menu was quite retro, with prawn cocktail and Chicken Maryland, but we... More

My aunt, friend and I booked into the Marine Hotel in Bangor, none of us having stayed there before. The weather was pretty grim unfortunately but never the less we were looking forward to our stay. From the outset the reception staff were warm and welcoming and it was evident they were well trained in creating a good impression. the... More

Been to this hotel more than a couple of times. High Tea & Sunday lunch, all occassions food was great & staff very helpful. Pity on one of the visits windows were dirty, I suppose on a windy day & being near to the sea, it would be a tireless tasks. Nice walk along the seafront afterwards was well appreciated... More

Was here for a wedding yesterday and had booked a room in advance. Friendly welcome from receptionist but when got to my room it was apparent that decor hasnt changed since hotel opened. Wedding meal was horrible - soup passable but main course bland and tasteless. Dessert of profiteroles was awful which was served on a plate and simply garnish... More

I don't normally write reviews but I had to on this occasion. We went on Saturday night with two friends for the high tea, it was excellent, from food to staff to guy singing to location, the whole experience. Definitely be back and would like to stay over as it looked lovely. The girl serving us was excellent, wish I... More

After a wonderful day spent at the sea front we came back to have dinner in hotel restaurant and just as always we were treated as old friends. Staff always remember you and are genuinely happy to see you again. I must give a special mention to elihan... More

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and above all good price. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will definitely be back. All facilities are gorgeous. The food is delicious and the adjoining night club is also good. Good location.
