I dinned here after received a voucher for 2 courses. Food, service and atmosphere lovely, although I'd prefer the tables to be a little further apart for a more intimate dining experience. Overall, very nice!

We were booked in for a family party. High hopes for a lovely night. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful, however, the worst ceasar salad ever followed by worst burger ever, Really hoped it would be good. Such a disappointment.

This is my second time staying at the Salty Dog and I just had to share my experience, on how amazing my stay was. We got a gorgeous room right at the front of the hotel so we could look over the bay and it was just a marvel to look at so the location is just spot on. Our... More

The staff and food make this hotel one of my favourites for a relaxing break away from it all! Despite the fact I had to change my reservation twice, due to sick children, the staff were so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is so tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. They sometimes do deals on grab one/living social... More

For Valentines weekend I reserved a table in the restaurant as a wee treat for my partner and myself. The entrance to the bar/ restaurant was completely covered in dog hairs, not good ! On entering I noted there were only 3 table occupied, again not a good sign:-( The menu was very disappointing, not a great selection. For 'starter'... More

My husband managed to get a grab one deal for this hotel which we booked it for our Anniversary Weekend. The moment we walked through the door we were made feel welcome. The reception staff were extremely friendly and we were upgraded to a seaview room with the most amazing view of the Harbour. The rooms are nice, they have... More

My fiancé and I got a deal on living social for an overnight and main meal. Without a doubt a fantastic deal that we were lucky to get. The food cannot be faulted and I cannot stress that enough. We both got rib eye steaks and the sauce over it was amazing. Altogether the meal was a little bit of... More

Stayed overnight for the all things Alsasian wine dinner. This was a Christmas present. 1. The stay at the hotel was extremely comfortable. We stayed in a deluxe room over looking the pier. The room had lots of nice homely touches and was very warm essential on a cold January night. The breakfast was excellent with quite a few choices... More

Went to the Bistro not having been in a few years. Bar area is nicely lit & furnishings comfortable. Although the barman looked quite stressed and the place wasn't overly busy at this stage, try a Cocktail they are good. Staff very attentive and very pleasant - especially Richard who really seems to know his job and converses well with... More
