Me and my fiancé' stayed in one of their suites on the night of our engagement party, and it just made the day even more special. We checked in from 2pm, the staff were extremely helpful with us, and carried our bags up to the room and showed us where we were staying. The room was very clean, it was... More

We had a great celebration on 7th december at the hillcarter roof restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. The disco catered for everyones taste, on the whole a professional performance. Will definitely return. Angela and Terry Connor

Hotel is great, greater by a very nice girl on reception who was very helpful. We had breakfast that was a disappointment, some food was over cooked( could of been left "keeping warm" for too long). Saying this we would use the hotel again, just not eat here. I can imagine It would get noisy over a weekend, as I... More

Couldnt get accommodation in Middlesborough, so booked here. Apprehensive with the warning notice on booking receipt and even more so when I had a phone call reminding me, prior to arrival. There are 10 reserved parking spaces at rear of hotel and an adjacent pay and display one. Very friendly receptionist and all staff I came in contact with. Noise!... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hillcarter on a one-night stay in Hartlepool, attracted by the low price in comparison to other hotels in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough. We stayed on a Saturday night and were warned about the noise from local clubs by hotel staff before arrival. Yes, it was quite loud but nothing that wasn't fixed by a... More

Excellent hotel for the price! Issues; bar food not served at weekends (not really an issue as there's a Weatherspoons less than a minute away and the food there is lovely.) Breakfast finishes at 9.30 on a weekend (did I mention Weatherspoons?) There are function rooms and nightclubs downstairs. Hotel phones you out of courtesy to warn you about noise... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hillcarter for one, (Monday), night whilst up in Hartlepool for a funeral. We were up-graded to an executive room at no extra cost. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom well appointed. I managed to break the handle on the toilet, this was reported and dealt with immediatly. All in all the... More

Stayed for 2 nights for business. The breakfast was very nice and the room was ok but a bit tired. Be warned you sign a disclaimer to make you aware of the extreme noise at the weekend due to the hotels night club. Free parking is good feature. Good indian and italian restaurant nearby.
