We really enjoyed our stay here.We ate a lovely cooked breakfast every day but there was plenty of chioice which you made the day before and placed in a draweri in the hall. The very nice owner Pam, offered more toast , tea and orange juice if required but as the breakfast was quite filling we never needed extra. The room... More

We booked a family room at this place, having specified 1 adult and 2 children. We got there to find a shabby room with a double bed and an even more shabby camp bed! Bear in mind that the website we booked through (Hotels Combined) showed a picture of a half reasonable looking family room with a double bed and... More

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The owners were cheerful and helpful and the room was tidy and clean. The Full English breakfast was perfect and just sealed the stay. I would certainly recommend this B & B to anyone who wants to experience the traditional Bed & Breakfast at its best.

Room was small (no desk or table) bathroom had no bath (only a shower) and the shower was too short for me to fit under (I'm not tall at only just 6ft), breakfast was ok but nothing special. Was acceptable (just) for two night stay but would not have wanted to stay any longer and will look elsewhere next time... More

We booked just for one night and accepted the last available room which was a twin. When we arrived we were shown to our room, which was less than satisfactory. The aged carpet had not been kept clean and we found biscuit or cake debris on the floor. The carpet clearly had not been recently vacuumed. The room was shabby... More

Not many bed and breakfasts in Frinton so we were lucky to find this one after walking the streets for a while. What a lucky find! Room very comfortable and clean and good choice of breakfast which you order the previous evening. Highly recommended.

5 nights with a 4 year old couldn't have been easier but if you're looking for more space then choose a Premier Inn. Great traditional seaside b&b, clean, tidy and very friendly. Price slightly on the high side but there again it was the middle of August and if you want to stay inside Frinton gates and really near shops... More

This B&B is exactly as described, a bed, and a breakfast, in an English seaside town. It is very business-like and does not pretend to offer more. In that, there are no complaints. They were accomodating with a large family group and the breakfast was generous. The price is fair.

After a long journey from Newcastle and having to do some work in the town i needed a good nights sleep. I was shown to room 4 which is a single by the landlady and was more than happy with what it had to offer. Room was at the right temperature bed was comfortable with tea and coffee making as...
