We booked the Donnington Manor Hotel for our wedding in October 2008 and cannot rate it highly enough - the accommodation, staff, venue (part Tudor part modern), helpfulness of management and wedding planning were fantastic. I stayed the night before the wedding in a suite with a girlfriend to make final plans and once we had sorted things out had... more

This hotel was very pleasant. My room (19) was clean the staff were courteous and the breakfast was very good but a bit expensive (£14). I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. more

Booked in for a Saturday night to get away from North London for the weekend. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the local National Heritage Sites of Knole Park and Ightham Mote, which are definately worth a visit. Hotel itself was clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful, although the leisure facilities are fairly poor and the... more

We booked 3 rooms a twin a double and a familyroom, on our arrival we were soon given keys and had 3 rooms together on ground floor, we hoped we could unpack and use the leisure facilities after a long 4 hour drive to relax, unfortunately the rooms were so cold and didnt seem to heat up so the manager... more

No complaints at all. Decent room, plenty of space, bathroom perhaps a bit tired, though. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent whatever you chose. A recent refurb means the place looks smart from the moment you arrive. Just tucked off the M25 but felt like a genuine rural retreat. more

Having read the previous reviews of this hotel, it was with some hesitation and doubt that I viewed the hotel on arrival. The reception has just been redecorated it is bright, clean and airy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room on the second floor was clean and had a comfortable double bed. I was surprised when I... more

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever been to. First of all the staff was rude and slow. The room was nothing special, TV only had 4 channels working properly. At the restaurant I ordered a medium rare filet stake which was medium well done, served with a cold whole tomato, cold mushrooms and MacDonald’s fries. To top things up... more

This is by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed in....ever. Staff were just awful. Took nearly 20 minutes to just check in because the receptionist was incredibly inefficient and seemed utterly overwhelmed by a party of 4 arriving at the same time. Our evening meal was a joke. We waited again for an eternity while the disinterested and... more
