Absolutely herendous, do not stay here, dirty cold and bad staff and owners are rude. They let commuters hire the car park out to commuters during the day so you can't park when you finish work, don't stay here.

If you have ever wondered where John Cleese got his inspiration from to create Fawlty Towers, look no further than The Moorings. None of the previous reviews are exaggerated, it IS that bad! Unfriendly staff, who look like refugees, a room which is cleaned about once a month, I found food in the drawers ( honestly! ), there was rust... More

Breakfast was served cold on a cold plate and our request for warm food was denied. Chef refused to cook again and refused to come into restaurant. No management avaiable to discuss complaint. Room not situated in hotel (which looked pleasant from photo on web) but out along a path at side of hotel. Qualityof cleanliness poor ! Mould in... More

This place is everything a hotel SHOULD NOT be. We were served cold food for breakfast and when we notified the staff they refused to do any more food and refused to send out any managerial staff to deal with the situation. Bad decor and general bad upkeep of the hotel adds to the unpleasantness of the stay. I strongly... More

Where do I start? The worst B&B in England I would guess. It is the pits! Unfriendly staff, cold food, grubby rooms. I would not put my dog in here. Think Fawlty Towers and multiply by 100! DO NOT BOOK!

We chose this hotel for it's location and price. The reception manager had an attitude even before we had checked in. He took forever to complete very basic paperwork and then insisted on walking us to our room. He took us out of the main building down a side path to the rear of the property. There we were faced... I booked myself and 2 colleagues in here for a 1 night stay while we were working nearby, couldn't really believe my eyes when we got there - this is NOT a hotel. The "rooms" are like wooden prison cells in someone's back garden - every other guest seemed to permanently live there as some sort of hideout for their... More

The room is disgustingly dirty, the bathroom is covered with other peoples sprayed tooth paste, body hairs and everything else you can imagine. Just as I noticed that, the rodents started scurrying around in the ceiling. Seriously, just don't even think about it.
