Six of us came here this afternoon for a traditional English afternoon tea and couldn't have asked for more. Booked a few weeks ago as it was for a colleague's leaving do and Sam couldn't have been more helpful. He explained that the hotel has recently changed management and is therefore undergoing some changes and that although afternoon tea wasn't... More

We booked in for two nights and only stayed for one. The lounge area & dining room are ok & the breakfast was nice but the bedrooms are absolutely dreadful, very seedy & in dire need of refurbishment, even the ones that have been refurbished are awful, rotting window frames with glass panes that do not fit the frames. The... More

I stayed here for one night, just for necessity. The room was tired and frankly put together without style whatsoever. The bed wasn't especially comfortable and the heating inefficient. Carpet on the stairs up to the rooms threadbare. Breakfast pretty ghastly, and not even a decent cup of coffee. Surly and inexperienced staff. The whole thing really could be so... More

There is always one experience, hotel or restaurant that stands out above the rest. This was not it... It's a £65 a night hotel charging £125.... This hotel needs to be bulldozed - it seriously lets Sevenoaks down. It's apparent that the owners are cashing in while they can. It's shabby from the word go - the carpark is more... More

As with so many of the reviews on this website, the lack of alternatives meant that we were left with little choice but to stay at this hotel. However, now that we know about this dreadful place, and assuming that we have a car, we will stay at a hotel outside of Sevenoaks. Things started with a request to pay... More

The hotel has tried to tidy up some areas, but the hallways and bedrooms are still very poor My room 112 had a bed that was very small I am only 5-9 and my feet were hanging out of the bed I felt every spring in a very thin mattress Overall the owners need to raise their game

Because of the areas I had to visit over a three week period, Sevenoaks seemed the ideal place to stay for the duration due to its central location. Sevenoaks itself is a lovely place to visit and has every amenity you could probably ever need, the town is unfortunately lacking in the accommodation area with very little choice of hotels.... Booked in for a night after the super bikes, bedroom satisfactory, bed hard bathroom lovely once shower heated up. Then the party underneath started, no restaurant available so left for food at 7.30pm returned at 10pm, told nothing could be done re noise, just have to put up to it until midnight despite not being warned on booking. On discussion... More

Not good value for money, rooms in main building are really quite poor, as is everything in rooms, furniture, décor, bedding, shower, really quite run down. The annex building is better, but not up to the standard of a Premier Inn.

A very warm welcome, good food, pleasant surroundings, clean and reasonably priced The room was basic, with all the necessities, nothing flash, but clean, comfortable. There was plenty of food for breakfast, freshly cooked and warm, in quiet surroundings. A good choice of continental and cooked no one could go hungry..even though on a main road , very quiet and...
