Went with a cycling group from Morley(near Leeds) Catered for internal storage of of bikes. Good service in restaurant and bar. Good, quality food both of the adventurous and traditional variety. For our group ( mixed couples and singles) room charge, on a half board basis, was £45/50 per person per night( was same even for those with a single... More

The Lothersdale looks ok at first sight. Frankly though some of the rooms are ok but they range from pokey basement cupboards to modernish seaview. Regrettably our room ("101"..... Is this a not-so-subtle joke?) was a twin bed in the basement/cellar (incorrectly claimed by the hotel to be a sea-view). The bay-window looked out onto a concrete bench area that... More

There are good and bad points to this hotel. I booked (some 9 months before arrival) a single sea view room. Was really looking forward to this, and had arranged to pay extra for the privilege. Found I'd got a dirty little room that looked out onto a blank wall instead. Very disappointing, and none of the staff seemed bothered... More

Just had a meal in Aspects. The service was very poor, had to ask for items more than once, wrong deserts brought, charged for more deserts than we had, and the waiter admitted he did not know how to make a decaf capo chino. Won't be going back

We'd previously stayed at another Morecambe Hotel to break up the drive from Scotland to Kent; because we booked very late on this occasion they had nothing available, so the Lothersdale was the second choice for our overnight stop on the way up to Scotland at the start of our trip. The hotel is right on the front and our... More

We booked using Late rooms.......thought we were getting a deal at 110.00 I walked in, walked out...disgusting!!!!!! A tiny twin room was so dated, a grim, dark bathroom. There was a smell, like a depressing old people's home.

After a long day and evening away from the hotel, I wanted to watch TV for half an hour to relax before sleeping, and found it was not working... I was too tired to bother getting it resolved at that point... so check your telly on arrival. Oh in my opinion a double room should mean double bed, not two... More

Dear Chris, It's always regrettable when our guests don't mention something that has caused them concern at the time, the TV was switched off at the plug and our team would have been happy to go through this with you on the evening. In terms of your room, you booked via an online booking agent and booked a Superior room... More

ive stayed here on business before having booked through booking.com this time though we came with friends and booked direct. Our friends followed their sat nab and parked on the car park but didn't have the access code so had to come back to the hotel entrance that aside we were welcomed by Candy on reception and shown to our... We initially booked to stay in a different hotel close by which turned out to be a horrendous disgusting pig sty which we refused to stay in After a refund and leaving we walked into this Lothersdale hotel without a booking on a bank holiday weekend. We explained to the manager our situation to be told there where only superior... More

The Lothersdale is located on the Central Promenade, away from the noise of the town centre but really convenient for the beach, shops, and restaurants. My room was unglamorous but clean, functional and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended.
