I can't believe we actually stayed the night here, if there had been anywhere else available we would have left and gone elsewhere. On arrival in our dingy room there was a musty smell even though all of the windows were wide open. The bathroom Lino was ripped and there were no towels or soap to wash and dry your... More

I was attending a concert at The Platform, and was looking for accommodation not too far away, from the venue. The Lothersdale was an easy walk away from the train station, and quick and easy check in when I arrived. My single room was lovely and spacious, had a big bathroom, with over the bath shower. As mentioned by a... More

Stayed for one night while visiting family in Morecambe. Was offered a single room which the receptionist said, was waiting for refurbishment. Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom spotless. My sister joined me for dinner in the evening and we shared a tapas option which was excellent. Dessert scrummy too and lovely helpful staff. Will definately return when visiting... More

We booked a reception here on the day of my fathers funeral. We agreed that we would have a buffet afternoon tea for 30 people. The restaurant informed us that any additional people would be charged on the day in agreement with us. It was a quiet Wednesday evening and we spent significant amount of revenue at the bar over... Just had a short break at The Lothersdale Hotel with Barnes Coaches from Swindon. Its a bit dated but going through a refurbishment, so should be well up to standard when its finished. Staff were brilliant and the food was very good and varied during my stay. Entertainment was quite good and its a good base from which to visit... More

Lovely looking hotel from outside, the Aspect bar is really nice and modern. The rooms okay door opened outwards this tells you room is small it was nicely decorated but still looked a bit tired, very comfy bed and the views were stunning across the bay, the hotel is in a fabulous location for everything. Breakfast was really good and... More

We paid £95 for a night in a newly refurbished (?) superior room plus breakfast. The room had a super king sized bed, which was very comfortable with an amazing sea view (we left the curtains open to appreciate it). However, the refurbishment was nothing special, and I wouldn't have known if they hadn't told me. A bit bland really.... More

Clean hotel, friendly staff, room quiet and hearty breakfast. Good views across the bay from the bar and private parking. Only complaint is decor a but tired but would return. Ideal location. Also kick out time is 11am so there is no rush on the last day.

Stayed here for 3 nights to visit Lancaster and surrounding areas as well as Morecambe itself. Morecambe, I think its fair to say has seen better days but the hotel is situated is situated in a nice area on the edge of town. It is only minutes though from the town centre and is on the wonderful sea front affording... More
