Oh dear, this hotel is in a time capsule from the 70's. The staff are bright and cheerful the rest of the hotel is not; it is tired, very tired. The good points- it is clean, beds are comfortable, food is reasonable. Poor points - Parking is minimal 3 cars rest on the road, small lift suffers from arthritis; dance... More

Went to this hotel with a coach party. When we arrived a member of staff came and chatted to us while our cases were taken into the hotel. Tea and Coffee was provided for us and we were given the keys to our rooms. The rooms were very basic and in need of refurbishing as mine looked a bit tired.... More

We realised that this was a 'coach party' hotel and did not expect too much, but the food was actually quite good. The biggest shock came when we arrived and they requested payment in advance. There is a lift but clearly in need of maintenance as it stopped fiercely and not in line with the floor level. A sign said... More

We stayed here with a coach party last weekend and upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a young man who welcomed everyone with teas and coffees whilst the staff took the luggage to everyone’s room! What a great start. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was... More

We have just returned from a long bank-holiday weekend stay at this hotel. The rooms are about what you expect for this type of hotel, but the food (both quality and quantity) and the staff are exceptional. If you're lucky enough to get a room at the front of the hotel then you have stunning views across the bay as... More

We stayed in the bridal suite four 4 nights in January 2012. The room was lovely. The bathroom was our only issue. There were notes all over the bathroom about keeping the curtain closed on the bathtub. But the bathtub was not designed for a shower, and no matter what you did, there was water on the floor when you... More

Just had a night at this hotel whilst visiting family in the area. Warm welcome from the lady on reception who was very helpful. Room was a throw back to the 80s . Blankets on beds , pampas green bathroom suite. The room was clean , plenty of hot water for a bath. The food was mediocre , not good... More

Was with a group holiday booked through Glenton. Thourohhoy enjoyed the hotel. It was clean and tidy the room I had was small but had a lovely view of Moreambe Bay. The food was excellent and the portions large. The only criticism would be the soup wasn't home made. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar prices were... More
