Welcomed buy friendly owner. Lovely room with a view, not pestered by anyone. Nice breakfast too! Only a shame we had to leave but we will be back for sure! The hotel is right in the thick of it but not too busy.

Typical sea front guest house. We arrived from IOM ferry around midnight, the two owners, Rob & Lee, stayed up to welcome us and check us in. Nice guys, as was the lady who served us breakfast in the morning. The room was large, it was comfortable and very good value for money. I had a good stay and would... More

Just getting ready to check out and wishing we were just arriving. If you are looking for somewhere that is friendly, relaxed, and very welcoming then look no further. We have no problems in reccommending it, Rob, Lee and all of the staff have ben brilliant and could not have been more helpful. Our room was the windsor room and... More

We stayed here for one night on the 13th July 2014 in the Windsor Suite. The view was amazing and the window seat was a nice touch. For the price, we couldn't fault it. Yes it's in need of a touch up here and there, but the welcome and the breakfast experience more than made up for it. The two... More

We stayed here for two nights. We were greeted by Lee on arrival. He advised us of places to visit and directions to railway station, etc. then showed us to our room. We had a room at the front overlooking the sea. Room very clean and very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were great, always very hot and fresh. Staff in... More

A group of 14 of us stayed here this weekend before embarking on 'The Way of the Roses' cycle trip. It was an excellent stay all round and just minutes from the official start point. Rob and Lee were amazing hosts, and provided secure cycle storage for us overnight as well as a hearty breakfast on the morning of our... More

Having stayed at the Balmoral on and off for over a year now I cannot recommend a better place in Morecambe Bay. Lee and Rob are extremely welcoming an will go out of their way to do anything extra you require. The rooms are clean and tidy with ensuite and plenty of room, the breakfast has a wide choice and...
