1920 's Hotel which is well done, bedroom are very different even the toilet is in a cupboard, all the facilities are there but hidden in a large wooden cupboard which makes the centre of the room. We stayed with a friend from America who was quite taken with the hotel although don't think Morcombe has a lot going for... More

Me and my sister stayed here for a night. I will start by saying the hotel staff are really helpful and friendly. We had an easy check in and our room was available early as requested, even though I had only requested a few hours before. We had a partial sea view twin room. It was a good size room.... More

Last came to this hotel in the 90s when it was a crumbling wreck, so great to see it restored to its former glory. Not had the opportunity to stay here again yet but popped in to try the bar. Great view out to sea and a decent pint. Staff were a bit preocupied and not the most welcoming, but... More

Not the cheapest hotel in Morecambe, and possibly the most expensive, but as a special treat it is excellent. Pay the extra for the sea views to gaze across the bay to the Lake District and then have a totally exquisite dinner in the beautiful sea-view restaurant. As you can tell, I loved The Midland!

We booked dinner, bed & breakfast at The Midland having heard about its renovation and having seen it from the outside on a previous visit to Morecambe. At first glance the prices may look excessive for a hotel situated in a town that has seen better days. But don't be deceived. Every penny spent on your booking is worth it!... More

This was a return visit. We upgraded to a bay fronted room. The bay wall is pretty much made of glass with two sliding doors stepping onto a very large balcony. The views are magnificent and the upgrade was well worth it. A slight hiccup with a jammed balcony door was soon fixed. The room is great, with a good... More

We had afternoon tea at the Midland which was excellent, the staff were efficient and friendly and a box was provided for you to take food home if you could'nt manage to eat it all. The brilliant white exterior the hotel had when it re opened is now looking a bit tired and it could do with a coat of... More

Walking in the footsteps of 1930's trendsetters and the great Hercule Poirot! How often do you get to stay in a piece of this countries architectural heritage? A stunning example of Art Deco style, as featured in many a TV programme or film that called for a genuine art deco setting. That it should now be as modern and eye-wateringly... More

Very very pleasantly surprised!! Beautiful setting for this beach front hotel. Smack bang in the middle of the Morecambe promenade is this little gem of a hotel. Spacious room - big enough for a double bed and an extra one for granddaughter. Novel bathroom with a wet room appeal. Tea/coffee making facilities, channel TV on swivel, two comfy lounge chairs.... The full art deco experience.. overlooking a lake district sunset whilst eating fine foods .. perfect. Walk along the pier/cobb and watch the seals in the estuary ... right outside the hotel. ****** 100 STARS EXPERIENCE ******** ********
