fantastic stay in a perfect house , delicious breakfast , fantastic clean room , brilliant hosts , you get that special touch as soon as you get there , would defo stay there again and recommend any one to stay . fantastic , thanks to every one at cawthorne house xx . gill and steve

We would definately recommend to anyone.....everything was perfect...breakfast was delicious....everywhere clean... with that little personal touch.....a lovely host and only a few minutes walk from the town centre.....Richard and Janet

Beautiful house, excellent parking, fantastic rooms and extremely clean... Good value for money, superb breakfast and the most welcoming, warm and courteous hosts. We loved every minute of our stay and we will definitely be visiting again. P.S Betty is fantastic! Jon & Kay

Had a lovely stay here for a few days, beautiful house, delicious breakfast and really great hosts - Jayne and Steve, not forgetting sweet Betty too! Great place to stay and would recommend to anyone. Catherine and Ian, Canterbury.

Cawthorne House is ideally located close to the centre of Pickering - pubs, Chinese, Indian & Italian restaurants all within easy walking distance. The house itself is grade II listed and the rooms are large and well furnished with modern en-suite showers. an absolute gem of a bed & breakfast!!! lovely location, warm welcome...banana bread was delicious...ask betty!! room was spacious, beautifully decorated, very well presented. jayne and steve had thought of literally everything...the bed was soooo comfy, and extremely large! the bathroom was just like being at home...little touches mean so much. good quality toiletries and accessories were provided...i could go... We found this B&B thro I know Yorkshire website, ( I think). Cawthorn is an an immaculate period house very cosy, our room was lovely nice decor and really clean! Stayed here for two nights recently. We were a party of 4 couples and everyone was of the same opinion regarding high quality of furnishings in each room. The breakfast selection was excellent with juices, fresh fruit bowl cereals and full English cooked breakfast. Fantastic sausages!
