New Years break at the Coach house was super..... Arrived to a very warm welcome, warm cosy immaculate cottage, with an eye for detail, just what we needed. Cream tea waiting, and a wonderful welcome pack. Hosts on hand and very helpful. Top notch comfort even down to superior cotton bedding of the highest quality, we really could not ask... More

Just returned from a wonderful few days at Applestore Cottage. We felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door - and that was even before we sampled the yummy homemade scones with jam and cream - a lovely welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer - but we will definitely be back. Great location too - easy access... More

There's a lot of bang for your buck at Noelle's Cottages on the outskirts of Pickering, Scotland--actually 1 1/2 miles from the compact town. Noelle and Tim own and operate several cottages in the cluster--we had the joy of staying in the Barn, which was modern and probably will cost us a bundle of money because we now want to... More

We have just had the most wonderful week our 4th in the Barn. We keep returning as we have always so enjoyed our stay in such a light and spacious home. We just love yorkshire and have been holidaying here since we had our honeymoon in York 33 years ago. Noelle and Tim are most friendly and welcoming, they will... More

Four of us, grandad, nanna, daughter, son-in-law and 16-month-old granddaughter all enjoyed a lovely peaceful week in the Coach House. First delight on arrival was the lovely afternoon tea spread out on the table and the very generous starting pack of food supplies left for us by Tim and Noelle. Both bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, one with a shower... More

Just completed another half term stay at The Barn It's a modern barn conversion split into two distinct wings easily accommodating the 5 of us Noelle and Tim are very friendly and always go the extra mile to make you feel at home. For example, you arrive to freshly baked bread on the side and scones on the table with... More

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you were disturbed on your holiday. Losing sleep on your well-earned break is undesirable. It is, however, an uncommon happening and is the result of a calf missing its Mum or the love song of an amorous cow. The farmer is aware of our wish to give our guests a tranquil and... More

We stayed in the Coach House, one of three cottages, two-story with two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms, although one of these has a hand-held shower over the bath, that is less than Ideal. However, the rest of the cottage is wonderful - modern kitchen, washing machine and dryer, comfortable lounge room and dining room overlooking the garden. The garden... More

A party of eight of us stayed in both the barn and the applestore. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and had all of the amenities you would want. Noelle was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor space was great for additional seating.

We had a lovely few days at the Barn. It is a really stylish, comfortable, modern conversion. Lovely White Company bed linen and feather pillows. The welcome pack was very welcome and Noelle and Tim helpful and unobtrusive. We'd definitely stay there again.

We have just returned from a very successful stay in Applestore Cottage last week. The configuration of the cottage worked for us (2 kids [7yo and 4.5yo] in the twin+ensuite, mum and dad in the master+ensuite) and we chose it for that reason, over the barn. Everyone enjoyed things a lot. Furnishings were very nice, particularly in the master bedroom... More
