We stayed the night at The New Inn & Brewery at Cropton. An outstandingly friendly and social pub. Probably the best pub meal I have ever tasted. Smoked chicken salad, huge lamb shanks and proper creme brule. A choice of beers brewed on the premises to make the eyes water! Very clean, OK room, but super people.

We stayed overnight at Easter at The New Inn. We found it to be welcoming and comfortable. The onsite brewery delivers a good local ale(s). The rooms are quaint and this is to be expected in the surroundings. The meals were of a very good standard and breakfasts were decent (no baked beans or tinned tomatoes though!).

Four of us stayed at the pub in may 2014. We found it to be a very pleasant place with good food great beer and cider. The rooms we stayed in were excellent, clean and well decorated. The staff were all very pleasant especially the lady behind the bar who was very knowledgeable on the real ales. All in all... More

Pretty country pub on main road through Cropton village. This is obviously a busy little pub offering wide range of food on menu, as when we called for an early dinner on a lovely Sunday evening lots of the menu was unavailable. I had a very tasty smoked chicken salad with orange and balsamic vinegar dressing served with toasted ciabatta... More

Our family gave us an Experience Days gift voucher of Brewery Tour and Pub Lunch. We decided to book an overnight, (we both wanted to sample the brew, so no driving). At the last minute I booked an extra night and luckily the fitted us in. We had a great time, the Suite was clean and comfortable, but an extra... More

I bought my husband the brewery tour with evening 3 course meal and overnight stay for Christmas and we finally got around to going on Sunday night. We were joined on the tour and for the meal by our aunt and uncle who were staying nearby, we all had a lovely time. The staff were all friendly, especially the lady... More

The New Inn is friendly, clean and unpretentious. Our room was a good size, a double and a single bed, with a good size bathroom. The bar is what a bar should be, no tv and an excellent selection of beer. Well worth a stopover as you are able to taste the beers and just walk up the stairs to... More

We had this brewery tour, dinner, accommodation and breakfast gifted to us by our daughter and so we travelled to North Yorkshire. The weather was lovely both days and even though we arrived very early the lady behind the bar had us checked in, registered for the brewery tour, room etc, and had our lunch order sorted out in short... Was busy for a weekday as they had a large table to cater for as well, but was told food could take up to an hour . We said thats fine, as reviewing other places this seemed the best. We wasnt dissatisfied as food came out hot, well presented. For pub food, was good , for holiday visitors to wonder... More

Ate here a couple of years ago and had good food. Stayed over night, week ago as party of eight. Starters average but soufflé was very sad, a soggy lump. Two mains were very poor, over cooked fish swimming in butter, veggy option little more than tin of tomatoes, burger very dry but hake and steak OK. Vegetables over cooked.... More
