We were given the brewery trip as a present and decided to incorporate it in a longer break and stay over since it defeated the purpose to drive afterwards and we arrived in the afternoon of Thursday 2nd April. The bar was busy but we were quickly made welcome and shown to our room which was small but clean and... More

My wife and I stayed at the new inn on a brewery tour for 2 nights through Groupon 29/3/15 to 31/3/15 and what a pleasant experience it was, we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. we did the tour on the first day and found it very informative there is a lot more science involved in beer production than... Hi Tony M Thank you for taking the time to write your detailed review, as you say we do have the odd squeaky floorboard but much of the pub dates back into the 1700's so it comes with the territory! We're glad you enjoyed your stay, thank you for your feedback on your stay and your tour around the brewery,... More

My wife and I stayed at The New Inn, Cropton, during the first week of March. We had a voucher deal, which turned out to be excellent value. The accommodation was very clean and adequate for our needs. The brewery tour was fascinating and well delivered by our guide. At the end of the tour we received complimentary bottles of... More

Stayed locally 13th to 20th March. Greatly enjoyed the pub, beer and food, but was disappointed and surprised that half way through the week the lagers and two different draught beers were suppd up! Also Classic Bitter bottles were not available. Cannot understand the switch away from the Cropton branding which was unique.

Hello Johnworsley1 Thank you for leaving us a review and for your kind words about our food and beer. We am sorry that some of your favourites got sup’d up during your recent stay. With our new brewery completed only a few weeks ago there was a bit of a break in production while we settled into our new premises.... More

Stayed for one night on Saturday - went with my husband, daughter and son-in-law. We all had a fantastic time - especially sampling the wonderful beer! The evening meal and breakfast were very good! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were in rooms 8 and 9. Now the bathrooms are a bit out dated (1980`s) but still working!... More

We combined a tour of the micro brewery with an overnight stay at the adjacent Inn. The tour was interesting and informative, followed by sampling the beers.(I liked the (the Yorkshire Golden the best). The hotel bedroom was spacious and tastefully decorated. We found the staff friendly and helpful. We ate an evening in the pub and the food was... More

We visited The New Inn at Cropton this weekend for my husbands "special" birthday. It was amazing from the moment we stepped through the door. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. We were a group of 7 and 2 dogs. The food was excellent the beer exceptional. Most of us went on... More

Myself, my parents, family friends, their two 12 year old twins, and two dogs stayed over this weekend, for my fathers 60th birthday (We were allowed to bring in Moét and cake from outside, we asked first of course!). Firstly, I must say a word about the staff. The staff were absolutely fantastic, attentive, considerate, approachable, and all round lovely.... More

We have visited and camped/camper van'd ( is that a proper word?) at"Croppers" many times. With the exception of the beer festival, it is always pleasant offering great times and fantastic food and of course on site produced beer! The cheese board is enough for two to share as a beer soaking snack, or perhaps as we often do make... More
