Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and had tea, coffee and juice provided. Breakfast great with a range of choices. Couldn't fault our stay which was only for one night and have booked to return this year. Would recommend.

This was our first visit to "The Beansheaf" & didn't know what to expect. From the moment we arrived we were made most welcome by Jo & Andy. The rooms were immaculate & well cared for. The meals were delicious & well presented. We had met up with my daughter & grand children in Pickering & returned to the hotel... More

I chose this hotel for close proximity to the theme park for a relaxing evening after a busy day with the family!! The Beansheaf is a very friendly and comfortable hotel. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and a clean shower with nice white towels. We had our evening meal and breakfast there and the food was good, service was quick... More

After a long day at Flamingo Land this lovely hotel provided a wonderful meal at their restaurant and an excellent nights sleep. I stayed in England for 28 days and this hotel had the largest and best towel of all the rest of my stay. As a solo traveler the room was a perfect size and overall it was a... More

First the good points: Pleasant staff Linen and towels (and toliet tissue!) of good quality Hospitality tray includes J2O Individually cooked breakfast Then the not so good: Most rooms are noisy - the nearby main road is quite busy, there's no double glazing and the internal and external walls are thin The decoration, especially external, is in need of a... We did not stay at the hotel but went for the Sunday Carvery. The welcome was great and we were shown straight to a table. The dining area was spacious, clean and tidy with table decorations and it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. Drinks were very reasonable and the carvery at £8.95 was very good value for money.... More

Booked a night in the hotel to meet up with family who were staying in nearby Flamingo Land. The room was comfortable and well prepared. The family joined us for evening meal at the hotel and the food was good. Thankfully the restaurant wasn't busy as our party included 2 very young guests who were practicing their dance routine! Staff... More

Overall, the hotel was ok. Breakfast was adequete, however, ends by 0930hrs which is far too early on a weekend. Some of the bedding was stained which was disappointing, the throw etc. The bar area is limited in seating and lacks any sense of being somewhere to sit, chat and relax, this could be improved on. Overall ok.
