this hotel is clean and food is good and cheap for pub grub however thats about it. The staff are unfriendly and the average age is about 20! one girl really cannot be bothered to be there and that was clearly obvious. Perhaps a little unfair to a lovely bar lady and guy on reception on the saturday. When booking... more

I only stayed at the Beansheaf for two nights, but I could have stayed longer. It was a bit pricey, compared to other hotels in the area and, in my opinion, for what it offered. The room was very nice, stylish and most importantly, clean. There were all the usuals - tea, coffee, biscuits, and also a TV. However, they... more

Stayed one night glad we hadn't booked for any more besause we wouldnt have stayed any more. Bar meal at night was served in a dark dingy and very hot bar, we were sqaushed into a corner were the waitresses struggled to get past other customers with our food, the meal was ok but nothing more, the menu was a... more

Stayed at the Beansheaf on a Sunday night in June and its ok! Personally I'd rather they spent money on better toilet paper than J2O's and digital tv's than pay for view films but thats just me. Its easy to find, the staff are pleasant and its not stupidly priced like the "white swan" Foods very good, I'd like to... more

We stayed here for one night when going to a concert at Dalby Forest. The staff were friendly and helpful. They booked us taxi's for the event. As we were going to be in after they had finished serving dinner I asked for sandwiches to be mad eup and left in our room and they were more than happy to... more

it was awful, yes I am fussy, but seriously, do not go there unless you mind wet soiled carpets and bathrooms that absolutely stink of damp, with mould all over the shower curtains. Yes they gave you chocolates, juice and made funny animals from the towels, but I would rather have none of that and just a bit of cleanliness.... more

Date of stay - 17th August 2008 Reviewer - S & S Tomlinson What a great little hotel. The service was excellent - from making the reservation over the phone to check out. Reception is bright, clean and welcoming. Check in was effortless and we were soon shown to our room. We had a standard double and can say it... more

I stayed one night at the Beansheaf hotel with my family - 2 adults and 3 children in two rooms. I would rate the hotel as average. The rooms were nice, but there was a bit of a stale smell in one of the rooms and bathroom, although it did look clean enough. If you have children, I feel the... more

we were looking for a hotel close to flamingo-land and this one was perfect, only about 1.5 miles. hotel very nice and clean but could be noisy as sound proofing of rooms was non-existent, we had babies at either side of us so didn't get much sleep. staff generally helpful but like another reviewer the laundry lorry just happened to... more
