A beautiful room and house in an excellent location, with fantastic views. A very helpful and friendly host who could not do enough to help and make the stay perfect: homemade cake and tea on arrival very much appreciated. A very comfortable bed and room. Excellent breakfast, local produce and homemade bread and jams. All this and a fantastic public house... More

We had booked at Low Farm for 4 nights but enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable and the views from the terrace at the front stunning. Linda and Andrew are perfect hosts and the breakfasts superb. We were lucky to be able to enjoy excellent weather which was great for... More

A warm welcome by our hosts set the tone for a very pleasant three nights in a lovely setting. Good spot from which to explore the moors. Very poor wifi and no mobile signal was a drawback but not the end of the world. Room a little cramped but spotless and high standard of comfort. Attention to detail exceptional. Would... More

A quick visit to attend the local farm/ agricultural show. We had a brilliant welcome. Fortunate to be shown the two b& b spaces and self catering cottage. It appears to be in the middle of nowhere but there's a pub a few minutes away for food , there were hoards of walkers around not just people going to the... More

We spent an excellent 4 nights at Low Farm and think it is the most perfect B and B. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea and delicious coffee cake. They were fantastically helpful, making dinner reservations for us and suggesting places to visit and walks to do. The view is spectacular. The room was immaculate, the bed... More

We stayed here two nights while exploring the North Yorkshire moors for the first time. What a spectacular location this accommodation has. The welcome was also very warm, friendly and helpful with the twin room and bathroom very well appointed and spotlessly clean. We were slightly disappointed by the size of the rooms and, although magnificently modern, the fixed shower... More

What a fantastic place for a B&B - the scenery is breathtaking and so peaceful with wonderful walks. Everything about Low Farm is beautiful, the breakfast are really tasty, bedrooms are immaculate, with very pretty furnishings and extremely comfortable beds. What a treat to be welcomed with tea and gorgeous homemade cake. A thoroughly enjoyable few days.

We stayed at Low Farm a few weeks ago after a friend had raved about it and we were not disappointed. The views are amazing and it's very peaceful, but everything in the village is within walking distance if you want to get out. Andrew and Linda were warm and welcoming hosts and our children loved playing with Archie the... More

Normally when I read a "less than stellar" review among numerous good ones, I think that the writer must be ridiculously picky and / or have completely unrealistic expectations.. However, I have stayed in many British B & Bs and this is the first where I was extremely unhappy throughout my entire stay. On the day I left, my bags... More
