stayed over christmas which was the busiest time for them however the staff were more than capable of looking after us and i would advise anyone who wants a trip on the north yorkshire moors to stay at the forest and vale. Thanks again Daniel Adams more

i visited after christmas and had a wonderful time. the new bedrooms were amazing and the food was delicious. the location was perfect on the market and close enough to York and Scarborough to visit but without the hustle and bustle of staying there. Have already booked next visit more

We stayed at the Forest and Vale over the ever popular wartime weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel had a 1940's dinner and dance and although the 'DJ' could have made a bit more effort to make the evening authentic, the food, service and staff were excellent.
