Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple of friends who had stayed before. It is a lovely, warm and welcoming place and Pat made us feel at home immediately. On our family vacation we stayed one night at 17 Burgate and had an outstanding experience. We didn't have a reservation and were knocking doors until referred over to this one. So glad we did. “Very welcoming”

We stayed for one night on our route to Whitby and had a very memorable stay. A very warm welcome followed by a short tour of the B&B and tea and cake on arrival! Breakfast was of high quality and served with a smile. We shall be sure to return.

If you are anything like me your first impression of a BB is that of old tired decor, let alone a floral bedspread which has seen, shall we say 'better days'.
