Found here on trip advisor with reviews 100% which we must say were spot on. Stayed in their only self-contained unit which was huge. A big double bedroom with lounge area, kitchen and shower room plus private garden although we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Everything was spotless and excellent in every way. Elizabeth our host a delightful... More

We stayed in no.2 of the converted barns which is very well done out and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower and nice toiletries included. Fresh milk and bottled water every day placed in the fridge. The breakfast was plentiful including fresh fruit cereal and cooked if you want it. The dog, Jess is... More

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the accommodation was excellent, the breakfast superb and the Stead family very welcoming. A stroll to the Fox and Rabbit is not to be missed and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway a must.

Historical beef farm overlooking the North Yorkshire railway steam train down in the valley. Great walking through fields and moorland with traditional pub food en route. Steve and Liz are perfect hosts, friendly and relaxed. Running a B&B and a farm can be stressful but Liz remained calm and full of information. The converted barn was clean, spacious and homey.... We stayed at this farmhouse for 4 nights in one of the annex and there was nothing we could fault. Liz makes you feel at home immediately and serves an excellent breakfast. An added bonus was the fact that a fantastic pub, Fox & Rabbit, is directly opposite the entrance to the farm driveway and takes approx. 7 mins to... More

We were made very welcome by Liz who made us feel very much at home. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfasts were so enjoyable. We stayed for a week and wished we could stay longer. This farm is situated in an excellent position for discovering the National Park and other most interesting places around. It is the kind of... More

If you are walking the Tabular Hills Walk and Levisham accommodation is not available then this a lovely alternative and very close to the Fox and Rabbit pub/restaurant. Liz is very welcoming and made us feel at home instantly after a whole day of walking. We only stayed the night but it was very quiet and comfortable. The accommodation is... More

My visit in late September was my fourth year running and was faultless as usual. Liz and Steven,s attention to detail ensures that you always feel special. The accomodation was clean and comfortable with extra little touches which make life easy. Nothing is to much trouble and any request even if it is out of the ordinary meets with a... More

We try and get here a few times a year when we can: Liz and Steve's farm is a great place to stay and Liz can certainly teach lots of your grandest hotels and restaurants how to treat your customers and all about hospitality. Mind you, Yorkshire is famous for that. Fairfields farm is brilliant for a chill-out weekend with... More

Liz very kindly put us up in the farmhouse for our first night because the annex was fully booked. Lovely big bedroom and everything was spotless. Breakfast was superb. We moved across to Annex 1 for two nights - again everything was excellent; Quiet location with superb accommodation and a lovely pub at the end of the lane. Liz is... More
