We hadn't stayed at a B&B before so my husband and daughter were not sure what to expect, Well, our stay was just lovely! Brenda who runs the B&B greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and cosy. Brenda provides a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh bread toasted and a very tasty breakfast. We... More

Stayed here for my 60 th birthday treat to enable me to go on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Short walk into the town and the railway station so ideally placed. Warm welcome from Brenda who owns the place had the full English breakfast both mornings which was nicely presented using local fresh produce- something I prefer. Had a lovely... More

We were very happy to stay with the hostess for the two days that we were there and she was very welcoming and it was like being in a 4 star hotel. We would definitely go back. The place was quiet as well

Brenda runs a lovely B&B and we fully recommend the full English breakfast! The breakfast is cooked to perfection and all the ingredients sourced locally. The accommodation is a short walk from the centre of Pickering and the NYMR. The room and house is spotlessly clean and Brenda makes you feel really at home; with nothing being too much trouble.

A beautiful B&B, in a great location. A lovely welcome and it just gets better. The room was spotless and has all the little luxeries that make a difference (dressing gown, slippers, nice toiletries). I had room only so can't comment on breakfast, but will definitely come back with my husband and have the breakfast because the standards here are high... More

Stayed two nights in ensuite bedroom with comfortable double bed. Plenty of parking at house. Great night's sleep. Short walk to several friendly eating and drinking establishments in the town centre, with good beer and good food. Brenda very friendly and welcoming. She is focussed on local sourced materials/food and on sustainability with solar panels and air heat exchangers.

Stayed for two nights in the turquoise Room (1). Cosy room with a comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast provided by Brenda for whom nothing was too much trouble. The shower in the en-suite was small but I believe that this is being renewed later this year. Will stay here again if returning to Pickering.

Stayed here for two nights, very comfortable room, slept like a baby. The room was very clean, the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, freshly made, fresh coffee, fresh fruit, hot full English breakfast, just perfect. Our host, Brenda, is a lovely lady, very friendly, helpful and sociable. I would recommend this B & B to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

Me and my fiancé stayed here recently for a weekend away and it was an absolutely lovely b&b. The lady that runs the b&b is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome.
