Sevonford House lies at the very heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park: roads fan out from Rosedale Abbey in all directions leading to a wide variety of locations. One visit is never enough to this delightful former Victorian Vicarage which is tastefully and comfortbly funished. Ian and Linda are founts of information and can advise on all the... More

We spent one night at Sevenford House when we went to see a concert in Dalby Forrest at the end of June (the house is 30 min by car from Dalby Forrest). Very friendly hospitality by the owner who offered us tea and a fantastic coffe cake when we arrived in the afternoon. This is a very charming country house.... More

This is an absolutely gorgeous Edwardian house set in beautiful grounds. If you know the film A Room With A View, it's as if the Honeychurches are taking in guests to Windy Corner! Our room had views across the valley and was very clean. To accommodate our request for a twin room, I'd been warned that one of us would... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Sevenford House for 2 nights, and I can honestly say it is the best B & B we have ever been to. Right from the onset our hosts Ian and Linda were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We were offered tea and homemade cake upon our arrival, in the... More

Once again, we had the opportunity to stay with Ian and Linda at their fabolous Sevenford House B&B in Rosedale Abbey. And as ever, it was superb: both the accomodation (where we could stay some days in the spacious cottage as well), as also the astonishing friendliness of the Rosdale area, and not least the heartwarming atmosphere in the house.... Stayed recently for 1 night on a short break . The hosts have apparently been in business for 20+ years and I would say , enjoy their role , so all your queries can be answered and any potential problems have been anticipated in advance . East facing rooms look down towards Rosedale itself . Decor superior traditional . Breakfast... More

The house itself is beautiful, with such a calming atmosphere, we all slept like logs for the whole holiday. In addition the surrounding countryside is so pretty it was wonderful... More
