This place is fantastic for kids & adults, great for family get togethers. Just back from a brilliant family weekend 19 in 3 cottages. Tracey was really accommodating of a last minute addition to our party & there was everything we needed for a great experience. Bedrooms are really comfortable even the z-bed for the toddler. The grounds are brilliant... More

We received a great welcome, cottages are spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. There was 26 in our group aged between 3 and 90. The children loved the play areas, woodland trail, the garden toys and the freedom. Sitting by the beck was so quiet and peaceful, something for everyone. Each cottage had... More

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottages and had an equally fantastic time this year, as we did last year! On both stays, we were very pleased with the cottage we stayed in, very clean and equipped to a high standard. For an active family like ours, there was plenty for us to do on days... More

We stayed in one of the bungalows on the Low Costa Mill complex. The bungalow was very clean and decorated to a very high standard. We felt very comfortable staying there and it really did feel like a home from home. The whole complex is maintained to a very high standard, not just the bungalows, but the swimming pool and... We chose Low Costa Mill cottages because there was a swimming pool on site, a playground and because a friend had advised us about them. They lived up to our expectations and more. Our 2 bed cottage, Leat, backed onto the Mill stream and we had enough room to hang out comfortably in the lounge (2 adults and 1 child).... More

Just outside the picturesque town of Pickering, Low Costa Mill is a peaceful hideaway. There's a wonderful play are for children and lots of green areas for a game of football or similar. The swimming pool was very welcoming after a warm day out. My son particularly enjoyed the woodland walk which was accessible, even in his wheelchair. All in... More

For a family re-union with grandchildren Low Costa would be hard to beat. Plenty of space requires lots of running and several levels of play equipment provoke lots of invention. Animals to meet and talk about and draw. Accommodation was excellent with a caveat on low beams - once knocked never forgotten - but the beams are integral to the... More

Thank you so much for the nice review. There is a low beam in Heron along side the table it is well marked, and is agree is very much part of the character. The mill has been here for hundreds of years and some of the buildings aren't new. There are some stone steps to the side of Heron View,... More

A really idyllic and fun-filled setting for a family holiday. We stayed in June for a week to celebrate my Dads 70th and had three of the lovely cottages. The grounds are so well kept with lots to do that we stayed on site for 2 of our days holiday, having a BBQ and meeting the farm animals and spotting... More
