We stayed as a large family group of 20 staying in three cottages for a 50th birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time the accommodation was lovely very high standard with gorgeous open fires in all cottages. The swimming pool is a great bonus and lovely and warm on a cold January day. The owners are very accommodating, even bringing... More

This weekend we are having our 3rd stay in 3 months, it's that great. If you want to be indoors, outdoors, walking, running, swimming, playing, or just sat watching others get busy, this is the place. We always stay in Thresher cottage as it is the closest to the pool and suits our needs perfectly. I have mobility problems but... More

My family and I had two cottages. You could not fault either of them. The were spotless and very warm. The owners, Tracy and Dave could not do enough for you. The cottages had fire places and there were plenty of logs for you to help yourself. The bonus to us was the indoor heated swimming pool which was clean... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay in Leat Cottage. The hot water tank is more than adequate for two showers, but might struggle with a bath, two showers and washing up. Hence the boost button provided. We recycle, and we re-sort the general rubbish to increase recycling. The cottages have triple glazed windows, 300mm of loft insulation, and high quality... More

I booked a weekend away for friends and family as a celebration and came across Low Costa Mill online. We required enough space for 20+ people over the course of the weekend and group accommodation was in short supply in the area, so I was thrilled when we were able to book here. I emailed back and forth with the... More

So glad you had a great weekend, and thank you for the comments on the location, we love it here! All but Thresher Cottage have a real fire, and yes they are lovely on a winters evening, or an afternoon in the pool. Sorry the wifi didn't meet expectations, if it had been raised at the time we would have... More

Just returned from another lovely weekend for the Railway in Wartime event. Very comfortable cottage, spotless and really appreciated all the necessaries being supplied like loo rolls, kitchen roll etc. Heaters warm it very quickly and kitchen well equipped. Very peaceful location a short drive from Pickering. Did not use the pool but it looked nice.

Stayed in dog-friendly Thresher cottage with elderly parents for 3 nights in order to explore the Local area. The cottage was ideal, having downstairs shower/wc and upstairs bathroon, was extremely comfortable and spacious with lovely grounds. The owner Tracey was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and showed us round the property on our arrival. I can't recommend... More
