We spent 4 nights at Keldy and were very impressed - very clean and comfortable, pretty convenient for North York Moors attractions. The staff were all helpful and friendly, all in all a very good week spoilt only by the lack of Wifi, which we had paid for and are now awaiting a refund for. Be warned that the Wifi... More

We usually holiday in static caravans so immediately the cabins seemed luxurious to us! I've tried to write this with things that I'd have found useful to know in advance! We stayed in Golden Oak Cabin no. 23. We arrived at check in time and were immediately impressed by the lovely Retreat staff. Our key was issued and we were... More

Just home from our 4 night stay at Keldy, or third visit to these cabins since 2002. I love this part of the world, the cabins are lovely and it really is a beautiful location. In terms of cleanliness it is perfect, and the hot tubs are great (there's something about sitting in a hot tub at night looking up... More

This was a great family holiday, a change from our normal overseas breaks. Being out in the forest, without wifi on tap and mobile phone reception was a tonic from the hustle of the routine life. All the staff were friendly and genuinely keen to help. The lodge was clean, tidy and well appointed. Things to do on site are good... More

This was our second Forest Holiday break, booked in a hurry after having to cancel a camping trip a couple of weeks ago due to the awful weather. Must say it was a lot nicer being able to turn up and jump in the hot tub rather than mess about putting a tent up. The kids loved it, and I... More

We decided to look for a break for summer as work commitments meant we were unable to go abroad during school holidays. Keldy Forest with Forest holidays was perfect for us as is fairly close to where I needed to work one evening and as the cabins have wifi as an option I could spend one or two evenings keeping... Lodges are nice and clean, shop is very expensive £ 9.99 for full English breakfast. The one thing you must do is book anything you want to do in advance. After the morning we arrived I walked down to hire bikes. All the bikes had been pre booked and the night vision trail. They do not have anough bikes for... More

Forest Holidays Keldy is in a very quiet, secluded little forest set a long way back from the main road. This affords you a lot of peace and serenity, and the only noises will be the wildlife and the occasional noise from the guests. The cabins are reasonably spaced, so unless you're very unlucky and have anti-social neighbours you should... More

Stayed here for 4 nights Monday to friday in August. For the last couple years we have usually gone abroad as a family but this year we fancied something a bit different. This cannot really be classed as a relaxing holiday but is still very enjoyable. The 6 of us stayed in a Golden Oak cabin which cost around £1100... More
