Our 2nd stay at the Woodlands Hotel (the last time was 7 years ago). Mark and Nicole are excellent hosts and made us feel totally at home. The hotel is small, comfortable and a great location to use as a base for touring South West Wales. Everything is spotlessly clean and the room, albeit compact, was more than adequate. Breakfasts... We have just returned from a weekend break and stayed at this wonderful hotel. The owners, Mark & Nicole, were very warm and made us feel right at home from the very start. Nicole gave us great advice as to what to do with our time in Pembrokshire and where to eat in Saundersfoot. The rooms were very clean and... More

We stayed here mid August for 3 nights and had a first floor double room at the back overlooking the colourful garden. Nicole and Mark were really helpful and gave us lots of good advice on coastal walks and what to do and where to eat. The breakfasts were delicious and filled us up for our day ahead. The room... My husband I stayed at the Woodlands for two nights in August. We had a top floor room with a sea view which was big and comfortable. The owners Mark and Nicole are welcoming and friendly and they ensure that their guests are looked after. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with the food cooked to order. There is... More

I had a fantastic stay at Woodlands Hotel in mid August 2014. The lovely owners Nicole and Mark went out of their way to provide an exceptional personal service to me from the moment I arrived in Saundersfoot to the moment I left. The hotel itself is a very pleasant place to stay as the lounge, bar and gardens provide... More

My partner and I were on a "tour" of South Wales - firstly staying at Ewenny Woods B&B near Bridgend for a family celebration so we'd planned a few days to follow on, taking a tent with us....but we caught the tail end of Hurricane Bertha so decided that pitching our tent in gales and rain was not the best... Had a fantastic stay at the woodlands with my wife and teenager daughter. We were made to feel at home by Mark and Nicole from the moment we arrived. We had a sea view from our top floor room but wouldn't have minded a view into the spacious tranquil beer garden. We managed to spend a few fab hours playing... More

I asked for a quiet room, which Nicole gave us. Room 6, top of the house overlooking their nice back garden. Spotless clean, very comfortable. Surprised to see a wash hand basin in the room, but space for the toilet and shower necessitated this. My husband loved the huge full Welsh breakfasts, but I could only manage a smaller version.... We have recently returned from a 4-night stay at The Woodlands Hotel where the owners, Mark and Nicole (who also run it on a daily basis) can be justly proud of the service they provide to their guests. This is an extremely well run small hotel, primarily offering B&B accommodation but with the option of an evening meal if required.... More
