My husband I stayed at the Woodlands for two nights in August. We had a top floor room with a sea view which was big and comfortable. The owners Mark and Nicole are welcoming and friendly and they ensure that their guests are looked after. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with the food cooked to order. There is... More

I had a fantastic stay at Woodlands Hotel in mid August 2014. The lovely owners Nicole and Mark went out of their way to provide an exceptional personal service to me from the moment I arrived in Saundersfoot to the moment I left. The hotel itself is a very pleasant place to stay as the lounge, bar and gardens provide... More

My partner and I were on a "tour" of South Wales - firstly staying at Ewenny Woods B&B near Bridgend for a family celebration so we'd planned a few days to follow on, taking a tent with us....but we caught the tail end of Hurricane Bertha so decided that pitching our tent in gales and rain was not the best... Had a fantastic stay at the woodlands with my wife and teenager daughter. We were made to feel at home by Mark and Nicole from the moment we arrived. We had a sea view from our top floor room but wouldn't have minded a view into the spacious tranquil beer garden. We managed to spend a few fab hours playing... More

I asked for a quiet room, which Nicole gave us. Room 6, top of the house overlooking their nice back garden. Spotless clean, very comfortable. Surprised to see a wash hand basin in the room, but space for the toilet and shower necessitated this. My husband loved the huge full Welsh breakfasts, but I could only manage a smaller version.... We have recently returned from a 4-night stay at The Woodlands Hotel where the owners, Mark and Nicole (who also run it on a daily basis) can be justly proud of the service they provide to their guests. This is an extremely well run small hotel, primarily offering B&B accommodation but with the option of an evening meal if required.... More

Lovely clean hotel, rooms were spotless, great welcome when we arrived where we were given a lot of advise on where to go and the best eating and drinking places in the village. Our initial chat with Nicole when we arrived actually planned out our whole weekend as we had previously been unsure what we were going to do but... More

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Woodlands in half term week, the two adults having a lovely comfortable king size bed and our teenage son his own bed - all in room 2. The room was spacious and homely. The beds were great and the room had everything we could need (en suite, tea facilities, TV) including a... More

We enjoyed a five night break at The Woodlands hotel on May 12th 2014 till May 17th 2014. It was a most enjoyable stay. We were made to feel so welcome by Nicole and Mark. The hotel it's self was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast wonderful. One night we stayed in the hotel for our evening meal... More
