As with previous reviews a lick of paint and better beds would improve this place a lot.The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The walk into the centre of saundersfoot down a steep hill would not suit everyone but ok for us.

First of all the service was excellent and there are no issues; however this is a very tired looking place and it needs a good 'make over'. Breakfast was ok, but the only thing Welsh about it was that it was cooked in Wales- some local providence and produce would be ideal. This is an ideal location, but it needs... More

A late booking got us an attic room for the two of us but the room was capable of sleeping a large family such was its size and number of beds. The same could not be said for the bathroom, however, which was on the small side. It was also difficult dragging two heavy suitcases up steep stairs and then... More

Landlady sue is a lovely person and always has a huge welcome for us. The breakfasts are to die for and ive never left hungry from breakie. Rooms are... More

We just had the most fabulous short break for New Year at this wonderfully friendly and beautifully located, well run establishment. Sue and staff were attentive but not "in your face" hosts - the location is spot on with excellent sea views, seconds away from glorious village and coastal walks. We found the accommodation excellent, extremely clean and so warm... More

A hugely disappointing experience staying here. The rooms are dated, tired and very basic. No bedside lamps, just wall lights. Bathrooms are small and the electric shower was a battle to say the least. Internally the hotel is full of structural cracking and the decoration throughout the main hotel is poor. Breakfast was basic and tasteless and left the majority... More

stayed here for 2 nights during august bank holiday, landlady was lovely very friendly but we were very disappointed in our room, it was tired and dated really in need of a revamp, I can see by some of the reviews on here that some rooms have been revamped, sadly ours wasn't. We also found someones underwear behind the bathroom... More

Last minute bank holiday weekend so can expect to pay a little over the odds but £130 a night b&b. sorry all you Uk landladies, but its no wonder you struggle. Would love to spend more time in the uk weather permitting, but at these prices forget it. The hotel and staff are pleasant enough, the breakfast was ok, ended... More

Arrived and stayed for one night as we were catching a ferry in Pembroke the next day! Sue the owner must be an angel in disguise, so kind, helpful and chatty nothing is too much for her! The welsh cooked breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared! I cannot put our experience into words you must try it yourself!
