This is an expensive hotel and it manages to make you feel ratehr unwelcome. You are greeted with a request to pre-authorise a credit crad for your extras - quite insulting and not common practice elsewhere. But then this hotel does like to charge extras - like the £25 per resident per day charge to use the swimming pool (how... more

We (5 family) celebrated my wife's 60th birthday at this hotel and found everything to be of an excellent standard. We went on a "Dining Experience" package with either better or best rooms. All the rooms were very different in character, but all of a good size with wonderful sea views. The only criticism would be that the bed was... more

the hotel was clean and tidy, our room 108 was disapointingly small for the £230 per night price, it was a similar size to a travelodge. also having to pay extra for the pool as well as booking a time slot was insulting. we checked out after staying only 3 hours as we were on our honeymoon and wanted more... more

This spa hotel is lovely! I may be biased as I love the area but it a beautiful place to stay. The location is great, with fantastic views over the beach and harbour. The hotel seems to be designed around the view which is breathtaking. Staff were very welcoming and helpful although not overbearing. The spa was really relaxing and... more

Hotels are usually somewhere to leave things and as long as they're clean and the bed is comfortable I'm quite happy. The St Brides is a totally different experience. The hotel is wonderful, the staff delightful and the spa amazing. From the moment we arrived until we left we were looked after so well. Nothing is too much trouble for... more

This was our fourth stay at this hotel and I still think it is absolutely wonderful. We wanted a quiet weekend away to chill out and St. Brides never disappoints. The food is always excellent, the service extremely professional but in a very relaxed manner. You hardly know they are there but they are always attentive seeing to all our needs.... more

Hi Went to St Brides last month with 24 people from work. It's a lovely little hotel and the staff are lovely. I would definitely go back. I love Saundersfoot and this hotel is overlooking the Bay. The Spa is excellent and I had a facial whilst I was there and it was heaven. If there was one criticism it... more

I stayed here in July 08 for a one night spa break for my birthday and it was fantastic. I absolutley loved the room which was the top one available (although id of been happy with a lower priced one and more treatments instead!) It really was like a home from home and had money been no object I could... more

Excellent service, everybody tries to please customers, especially in the restaurant. Nice spacious rooms, interesting location. We would have liked to have more treatments in the spa, but it was booked most of the time. The sauna was not warm enough, but otherwise we were very pleased and can recommend the place warmly. We came from Austria and had a... more

I so wanted to love this hotel - I have been lucky enough to stay at 5 star hotels all over the world so appreciate a good one when I see one. My husband & I were in desperate need of some real R&R so when we read other reviews & checked out the website we decided to book ourselves... more
