We stayed at this guest house for two nights for the second time this past weekend. We were travelling to visit family with our young son (aged two) and its location within walking distance to the beach and away from the noise of the town is a big plus. (I would reccomend wellies at this time of year to get... more

Just up the hill out of Saundersfoot, in the middle of woods, feels isolated but only 10 minute walk to town. Slightly rundown, our room was in need of updating, with cobwebs in the corners and dirty windows, but the bed was comfortable and the showerroom spotless, so no real cause for complaint. The restaurant was very pleasant, the food... more

Two nights was not enough, the kids loved it there, the dog loved it and so did we. Lovely food and rooms, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend it to anyone. more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and sampled whilst there, the la carte menu which was fabulous. The room was homely and inviting and well heated. Always a good idea in wales as it can be cold sometimes! There were lots of interesting people in the bar to talk to. After a bit of a wait looking out... more

We had another great trip. The location is superb as was the hospitality and food. I would recommend booking dinner B&B rather than going elsewhere to eat as the hotel is the best place in the area. Definately worth asking Roy what time the Badgers usually turn up in the garden. Although they can be frustratingly unreliable !! more

We stayed at Cwmwennol in October and have a lovely time whilst we were here. The room we stayed in was very comfy and had a lovely bathroom. The food was great! It was nice to chill and watch the wildlife in the gardens, with a beer from the bar. With Saundersfoot so close it was a nice walk, to... more

We had been to this hotel a long time ago,and enjoyed it. Having just had a weekend break again, were very disappointed. It smelled of DOG in the rooms, I dont think our room had been cleaned since the start of season. The cups and kettle in room certainly hadn`t.. The cobwebs everywhere put me off. The breakfast was not... more

Having stayed there last year we had little choice but to revisit Cwmwennol as we had enjoyed ourselves so much. It's in a lovely setting with fantastic walks and is clean and confortable. The hotel is excellent value for money and Vicky and Roy are excellent hosts. With regard to the food, it is tasty and plentiful, just what you... more

Telling your friends you are having four days away in Wales in early November raises a few eyebrows. But we had been before and knew we were due for a great short break. Even though we arrived on a Sunday, Cwmwennol Country House hotel was full. Despite being so busy, Vicky and Roy had time to chat with us as... more

We had a great time and Roy and Vicki are the perfect hosts nothing is to much trouble (we went as strangers and came away with some new friends). The food was great but if it... more
