Within Pontypridd, this place is unlikely to be used as a hotel as we live relatively close by, but it is a restaurant/bar on the main road and it is an poor one, especially considering that their prices are not that competitive. Food has been sub-standard, using poor quality ingredients (LOW grade ham in a spaghetti dish one time, awful... More

stayed here for one night on business. Firstly the nightclub mentioned in a number of reviews is now closed and apparently won't reopen. My room was nicely furnished and the bathroom quite classy apart from a bit of blackening round the bath. Bed was large and comfortable and room was warm enough. Had a large tv with freesat so plenty... More

We spent two nights at the Blueberry to attend a wedding in Pontypridd. The wedding breakfast was actually held at the Blueberry and was very satisfactory as was the breakfasts we had. Our room was at the top of the building and was comfortable and clean however there were no windows in either the bedroom or the large bathroom. There... More

my husband and i had lunch here. food was ok, portions not big you will need side dishes if your hungry, except the pizzas, which filled the plate. decor was unusual. the front of the restuarent has big windows and very warm on a sunny day, they have blinds, but i didnt feel i comfortable in asking to have them... Stayed here after returning son to uni in Pontypridd . Had room 9 which on first glance was excellent. Tastefully furnished with lovely bathroom. Well equipped. Good location over an excellent restaurant where we ate in the evening. Staff friendly. However on deeper inspection the cracks began to appear. No chance of any sleep. Noisy nightclub underneath and kebab shop... More

This is really a restaurant and occasional night club in a central location with rooms above. Fortunately we missed the nightclub noise and the room we stayed in had been nicely refurbished in minimal white. The upgrade appeared to have been carried out a few years ago and a few glitches are beginning to appear. The friendly and helpful hotel... More

Stayed here one night for a business trip. It's basically some rooms above a restaurant, but it's all very well furnished and feels like a nice boutique hotel. All of the staff I met were very friendly and offered good customer service. Like many people that have reviewed this recently i was warm in bed. Although I could open my... More

The bed was comfortable, but in the sweltering heat, the duvet was too thick. The headboard and other surfaces were very dusty. The bathroom shower was weak, and the door did not shut properly. If you are old or infirm, the step up into the shower-cum-bath would be a huge challenge. There was no non stick matt in the shower.... More

An interesting boutique hotel in the heart of Pontypridd's market area. A little inconvenient as the car park is behind another hotel - not far away but requiring you to pick up a parking permit from reception first. On entering the hotel the eclectic nature of the architecture and decor of the bar and dining areas made quite an impression... More

Bedroom and bathroom both great - spacious and quiet with lovely Italian style furniture. We had room 2 which was painted in relaxing light colours and was beautifully clean. Staff helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. Car parking not far from the hotel was not a problem - two minutes walk away. We ate there and it was good, well... More
