This was our first place to stay in Scotland, and what a welcoming beginning to our trip. Alison was a wonderful hostess. She was warm and helpful. She printed out maps for us, and gave us advice. Our room was roomy and nice. The dining room was beautiful. We were well located, close to the Wallace monument. I would stay here... more

I stayed for 4 nights at the tramhouse and can highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast is large and delicious. It is a place of great hospitality; Alison, the owner, even arranged my ride to the airport. I am looking forward to my next stay. more

She showed use to our room which was bright and spacious and very clean, lovely furniture and fittings, very comfortable. Alison explained what was happening in Stirling (late night shopping) and where was good to eat. 1st morning, Alison welcomed us... more

I stayed for 27 days and there was not a sigle moment when I had concerned about anything. Alison was wonderful and tried out of her way to make my stay extremely comfortable. The best B&B I have stayed till date. The idea of having a guest lounge and a netbook for internet surfing is amazing, it surely helps to... more

What a fabulous B&B! I’ve done a fairly substantial amount of travelling over the past 10 years and this is definitely amongst the very best accommodation I’ve ever experienced. I stayed at The Old Tram House with my mother and sister on the 15th of October 2009. My sister and I shared “Twin Room 1” and mum had the “Double... more

The place is very charming and beautiful. Alison, the owner, is doing everything in order to distinguish this unique place from every other B&B that you have ever visited. The rooms are fabulous, the design is better than in any luxury boutique hotel. The breakfast was excellent as well; there is the big dinning room with one table which was... more

We really enjoyed our stay in Stirling and Alison was such a great hostess! The room was very elegant and the bathroom was fabulous!! I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. My only complaint was the bed - it wasn't comfortable. If you aren't there for more than a night, it might not matter. The food was... more
